Wow! Really a great preview and a race I am looking forward to watching. It is nice to dream of having a team in a grand tour.
I will be reviewing each stage and trying to see what it will take to win each one.
Good Luck to all the Pro teams.

Superb preview, it is going to be a very exciting race with so many massive mountain stages to salivate over!
I feel as if the Italian trio Sella, Ricco and Pozzovivo will have that edge in their home country, though Schleck is one of many wild cards.
If had to pick a winner I would just about go for Ricco, Sella should have been able to beat Cunego last year, but when it came to the end of the race it drifted away from him. Ricco will likely get time on TTs and possibly one or two of the hilly ones too.

I will make a bald move, and go for Schleck as the winner here. The Vesuvio setup is very very strong!

Excellent review.
Can only hope that Pozzo gets himself into the Top 5 overall. I'm hoping against hope though more for a stage win than anything else.
Should be Sella who proves strongest based on past form - though I'm fairly certain a crash will have a bearing on the overall.
Colombia were late entrants - hope they can all finish - but with some of the stages there are going to be eliminations. Not as many as if Cunego was here though. |

Will the Giro start today? I'm always extremely eager when it comes to GT's

Very nice preview. For Bacardi, this is the most important race of the season. Main thing will be to secure the top 3. I see Sella and Schleck as the main contendors, also in term of taking away bonifications.

Awesome! Now we have collected stage wins in all three Grand Tours.
And Cornu is the first Jack Wolfskin rider that is wearing the leader's jersey in a Grand Tour.

And we're underway
My team for this race may suck, but it's the best looking
Great screenshots and report, CountArach. Looking forward to the next 20 stages. |

Interesting to see Kohl and Schleck having lost some time on their team mates today.
Jack Wolfskin had to win. No chance to beat them in a 15km+ TTT. |

Acceptable start. Nice report. May these both continue.

Acceptable, that has cooled some of my fears for the Vuelta and it's ridiculously long TTT. Top ten is still on the cards.

Very nice start for us. Fothen amongst the best here gives him a bit to lose in the mountains. Also interesting to see whether Ulissi can attack in the hilly sections to claim Maglia Rosa. No matter what, that was a very pleassant start for us.

First goal achieved: didn't lose too much time on the TTT.
Now, Machado for the top-10 and a stage win and we walk away a happy team

A very nice result for Bacardi, gained a few seconds on most favorites, minus Fothen.

Jack Wolfskin played for and got that first stage, what's more the only sprinters I can see in the field are some ways down so a stay in pink should be the order of the day.
Speaking of sprinters looks like Luke Rowe has a very good chance of adding to his stage win tally, Grillo and Gatto couldn't match him. Kocjan is not in his class, the only real threat has got to be Goss not dissimilar to last year.
EDIT: I just saw Fororo, Sabatini and Hoffman and how can I forget Theo Bos

Do i have to remind you off his dominate win in the Tour of Channel Islands?
Seriously, Kocjan is not here for his sprint really, just for his TT in combination with sprint, which might be a nice bonus when he goes in a break.

Just remains to be seen who on my team will do any of the chases that, no doubt, will be required. Hopefully not Ponzi and Cataldo. An acceptable time loss for a TTT anyway.
