Looks nice! The first graphic is nice too. It should be getting more comments I think.

I have rewritten nearly everything on the first page, including a new biography for Daniel, and his stats. I didn't like how the team pres was looking either, so I will redo it when the DB is released.

Agree
It will be difficult with GreenEDGE, they have a mix of all different riders with different specializations, so they don't really have one that they're extremely good at, like Euskaltel are a team of fantastic climbers, Rabobank are great classics riders and GreenEdge have a bit of everything, which makes it even more interesting because they have the potential to go well in almost any race

January 1st, 2012
Hello everyone,
I am writing to you from the team-base in Varese, Italy, where I have just returned from my first training ride with the team. In a couple days is the pre-season meeting, which should be exciting. I already know my schedule, but the team's goals and GT aims will be announced.
But first may I welcome you to the new year, and to my first blog update! I am happy to be writing to you, and I look forward to a great season ahead. And luckily we start my first ever post with the year's first great news. After negotiating with our race director's here at GreenEDGE for some time, they have finally agreed to sign up the team to a UCI Africa Tour race! Although I was vouching for my home Tour of Eritrea, the race was not stable enough for GreenEDGE to sign on. But I was told this morning, that the team has contacted and is expecting a spot in the Tour du Faso, in Burkina Faso. This is very exciting, as I will be in some nice form for the race, which is run parallel to the Giro, but after the Tour of California. Perfect timing!
Now I'm gonna have a snooze, which most of the team has already done. I will give an update in a couple of days with a summary of the pre-season meeting. Until then, good night!
Danny

Thanks for the update Alakagom. It seems as if the DB isn't too far at all which is great news.
Cunego thanks for that, we can hope together!

Nice writeup there.
But you do know its only the beta, so there will still be fixes and stuff.
Personally I'm waiting for the full version in a week or two.

I am undecided, there will be few fixes, few more 2012 races and more equipment but that's about it. Hmm, bit of tough cracker here...

I will use the Beta for Daniel, and the full version for Sky.

4th January 2012
What's up everyone?
Today was the team presentation like I told you, and it was great to see the team kit finally revealed. I really like it, and will do my best to show it off!
The night before though, we had our pre-season meeting. Here we learnt our goals for the season, and where we will all peak for the season, fitness wise. Here is a quick summary:
Full Squad
Grand Tours
As a ProTour team, we have the privilege of being guaranteed a spot in each grand tour. Our team does not contain too many GC riders, but in Matt Goss, Simon Gerrans, Pieter Weening and Michael Albasini among others, we have real stage winning firepower.
At The Giro d'Italia, we will bring Goss, aiming for a stage win, as well as an in-form Albasini. Goss, Gerrans and Weening will ride Le Tour. Once again, no chance of a GC-win, but stages are definitely up for grabs. Goss will aim for the points classification. La Vuelta will be search for a stage-win. Weeing will also aim for a top-20 if the startlist allows it.
Monuments
The 5 Monuments will be a huge part of this season. Seb Langeveld will lead our attack on the cobbled classics, while Gerrans and Albasini will hope for a podium in the Ardennes. And of course Matt Goss will be confident of defending his Milano - San Remo title.
Sponsor Goals
Our main sponsor GreenEDGE has set three main goals for the team, with five mini-goals. The Major goals are:
Win Santos Tour Down Under
Win a GT Stage
Top-3 Milano - San Remo
And our minor-goals.
Top-3 Ardennes Classic
Win Kuurne - Brussels - Kuurne
Top-10 Paris - Roubaix
Top-10 Tour of California
Top-25 Vuelta a Espana
Danny's Fitness
You all know my calendar, but where will I be in good form, enough to win?
As you can see, I have two big peaks. First in May for the end of the Tour of California, and the beggining of the Tour du Faso, and then in September for the Canadian classics.
Pretty exciting huh? The season starts on Sunday, at the Australian Champs.
Until then,
Danny

Nice update!
Thoroughly enjoying it!
The Canadian classics will be a tough race, I think a KoM at the Vuelta would be more possible for Daniel T, but if Daniel gets in the right break, he could possibly win Quebec or Montreal, like Costa did.
