I didn`t even had a real computer until 14. Really miss these times.
We spoke about it yesterday what we made when being younger. We had a lot to talk about.
The younger ones had nothing to say except of playing computer. |

Well I turned 16 in October so it isn't bad, happy times now age of consent is gone
Although my biggest achievement was when I became moderator on Paradox forums ( game company ), when I was 14. There were about 20 moderators i general and I was the youngest, with the second youngest having a difference 20 years to me ( he was 36 )

Deda means Grandfather in Serbian
good thing the nickname has nothing to do with age

I´m 15 since 11th of October. I think I joined PCM Daily when I was 13 but I´ve been in another forums since 11 or so.

Same for me, i got one as a 14 year old (actually it was my fathers PC), in times of Starcraft I and Fifa 98 -Road to the world cup .
But i wouldnt change the childhood full of outdoor activities and fun with friends and books for a minute of a PC time. Praise God Facebook and such a things didn't exist in these times

Agreed. I miss being a kid so much sometimes. The only video games I ever played were Pokemon.

And what about Tamagotchi? That was awfully popular back then

I avoided that game I think only the girls played it here, but I also remember the days when I would watch TV shows from like 7-9 every day in the summer. Man, life goes too fast!

Hey, wait, given your birth date, when you turned 14 I had had a computer for more than 10 years already.
I got an Amstrad CPC 464 with cassettes and a monochrome (green and black) monitor for Xmas 1991 I reckon. All my friends wanted and got a NES or a MegaDrive and got them, my parents thought a computer would be better...
I can't really remind how I spent my evenings before that. Reading books or playing with mini cars or figurines, things like that. Then play in the garden, climb trees or ride the bike around the house. |

I started playing computer games when I was 7. Before that, I always went out to cycle with my friends, do time trials of 1KM .
Our times were pretty ok for 5 year old kids, I guess. I remember one day, we went out to cycle (we live in a small town), and suddenly it started to rain very heavy, but we kept on cycling. For some reason, that was the best day of my childhood.

Probably greater things. Why the F*CK is the computer even invented? Ifthey were never invented, we could easily live without them. If we would throw all our computers away now, we probably can't live without them.
