Really good reports roturn. Schumacher had that in the bag though, but I guess I should be happy with 3rd.

Finally a top 10 for Ponzi. Pity my depth of puncheurs proved no advantage. Guess it's not the same as last season, but I think Ponzi's large quantity of race days will more than make up for his average performances in the Ardennes.
Roll on the Giro!

Liege hattrick, awesome
Now time for Schleck to go and try to win the Giro. He shouldnt be the favourite, so maybe he will perform better more consistently

I wouldnt worry if I were you, Italians tend to get a stupid amount of bonus stats at the Giro!

True, true, but the opposition field is pretty big (Pozzo, Sella, Schleck, Popovych, Marzano), so less place for errors. It's going to be a very nice race though, can't wait for it.

Popovych isnt at the Giro, but there is another non-Italian threat in Fothen.

Eventhough todays result was better than the two previously, it's a piss-poor effort.
Team Festina will be looking into a new hilly captain next season.

Yeah my fingers are just crossed that he doesn't crash out, like I'm used to in the GT's... With Fothen and Contador I should, on paper, get some decent results in the GT's this season. I just had imagined some good hilly results also...

Quite right. Purely Italians (and multiple stage winner Rowe) for Wiggle - San Pellegrino at their home Grand Tour. Cataldo for GC, Ponzi for stage wins, Rowe for points. Easy.

Hopefully Ulissi can push for a stagewin or two, like last season... He haven't been good in any race despite of the italian ones so far, so this must be one for him.
