I think Lavoine already achieved a more than great result by grabbing a stage win in Oman for his condition. He has 80 in sprint, yes, but as soon as a hill is passed, the Frenchman is done, while his 64 resistance stat isn't helping either.
Which is why he is primarily racing small stageraces where there are a few flat short stages. Races that other sprinters normally won't bother to race. And with his low wage it's better than what I could get in return
But the negative in having him, is that the game thinks of him as the best sprinter, eventhough a rider like Pozzato is there, which is a blooper for the game imo. But he might be getting me something like 300pts this year, and if he does that he has been great value for the money

Good news for Dave Z. Good reporting Ember.
Also, didn't realise I'd sent Gilbert here

Very good hilly stage for me, Intxausti should now get a Top 10 overall, hopefully closer to Top 5
And race wise. Trofimov getting 20 bonus seconds at least means its no given that Zabriskie/Phinney will win!

Very good ride from Terciado, but unfortunately that doesn't buy me anything, as he'll get blown away in the TT tommorow.

Hopefully Coppel can at least get some nice result in the final TT.

What a boring race. Oh well, this means that I did well picking riders for it, as I have NO ONE capable of a top 10 here anyway.
Too bad Tim Dees is just outside the 50 man peloton. He could potentially have done something like 15th or 20th. Pozzato should be lucky to be around 30th. Fothen is the only rider of my team that could have been a potential top 10 rider here, but it would have been too much of a gamble. Congrats to the guys with top TTers left in the front group...

Jolly good team work to keep Ponzi in yellow for the last day, but I suspect he'll rather need the leaders bonus, plus an excellent time trial to remain in the Top 10 overall seeing as so many good time triallers are not so far behind on time.

Wicked! That sprint stat is so awesome on Trofimov.

Keinath taking over captaincy from Hagen here. He's had a very good season so far.

Damn it, missed the stage win even though we were dominating the sprint with one kilometer to go and the overall podium also seems out of reach now :\

Really poor stage - not sure how Abal and Perez Sanchez failed to stay with the 50 man lead group...
They're not the greatest hilly riders but better than some in the top 50.... |

It looked like positioning were key. The split happened pretty far behind, meaning a couple of "weak" puncheurs that were in the front of the peloton at the start of the climb survived, while some of the better got dropped, simply because they were too far behind. |

PCM11 and its 'realism' strikes again.
