The sixth stage of The Tour is another insidious stage with the finish in Plumelec, that is the same of the 2008 when Valverde wins. It can make a little selection because the arrive is very interesting and the stage is pretty undulating.
Start: Rennes
Sprint: Vannes
Finish: Plumelec

The sixth stage of the Vuelta is completely flat, if it wasn't for the Alto de la Crasta del Gallo, a very difficult climb. In this stage the sprint is not obvious. Some brave riders could attack and fight for victory.
Start: Baza
Sprint: Lorca, Murcia
GPM: Alto de la Cresta del Gallo(2°cat)
Finish: Murcia

The seventh stage of the Tour de France start in Poitiers and finish in Bordeaux. The stage is very long but it is very easy. The finish is after a bridge with very slight rise. It is the last stage flat before the Pyrenees.
Start: Poitiers
Sprint: Angouleme
Finish: Bordeaux

The seventh stage of the Vuelta is a stage for sprinters. In the first half of the stage there is a climb, but it will not make selection. This stage will be very windy.
Start: Alicante
Sprint: Benidorm, Cullera
GPM: Tarbena
Finish: Valencia

The eighth stage, that start in Auterive and finish in Carcassonne, is very difficoult but it isn't a mountain stage rather a medium-montain stage. There are 3500 metres of difference and there are a lot of climb but no very long. The clib of Seguéla and the Pech d'Al Bouich are the most difficoult and the longest but the hardest is the Pech Gros (1 km with a avarage slope of 13%!!!). The finish is in Haute Carcassonne with an uphill finish of 500 metres with a slope of 7%.
Start: Auterive
Sprint: Foix
Finish: Carcassonne

Start: Tarragona
Sprint: Tarrega, Martorell
GPM: Puerto de Miramar(2°cat), Puerto de Belltall(2°cat)
Finish: Barcellona

This is a fix for the stage 8 of the Vuelta; I updated the download of the stage above, too.

The ninth stage of the Tour de France start in Limoux and finish in Port de Envalira, it is the first mountain stage and first mountain top finish. The stage is long only 132 km but there are three climb: the Serrat de la Jasse, that is divided into two part by a short descent, have an avarage slope of 6% and a maximum of 16%!; the Port de Pailheres, long 16 km with an avarage slope of 7,8% and a maximum of 11%; the last climb is the Port de Envalira, long 33 km!!! with an avarage slope of 5% and 1 km at 10 %. This stage couldn't do a lot of selection but, with a bad day, one leaders could lose the Tour.
Start: Limoux
Sprint: Quillan
GPM: Serrat de la Jasse(2°cat), Port de Pailheres(HC)
Finish: Port de Envalira(HC)

The ninth stage is the first pyrenean stage of this Vuelta. The stage starts with some hill that will allow at the escape to go away.
After some flat km there is the first really climb of the day: the Collado del Cantò (avarage slope: 5%; max slope: 10%). After arriving in Andorra la Vella starts the last climb. The way arrives in Pal, but the stage doesn't finish here: the finish is to the top of the Coll de la Botella.
Start: Benabarre
Sprint: Tremp, Le Seu d'Urgell
GPM: Puerto de Tremp(3°cat), Collado del Cantò(1°cat)
Finish: Coll de la Botella(HC)

The tenth stage of the Tour starts in Auzat and finish in Massat, in the middle of the Pyrenees. This is the usually Pyrenees' stage with 3 climb 1°cat: the Col de Port, the new Col de l'Arrech and the classic Col d'Agnés. They are very hard then the stage could make a lot of selection because the finish is after a long and technique descent, too.
Start: Auzat
Sprint: Saint Girons
GPM: Col de Port(1°cat), Boussenac(3°cat), Col de l'Arrech(1°cat), Col de la Core(3°cat), Col de Latrape(2°cat), Col d'Agnés(1°cat)
Finish: Massat

The tenth stage of the Vuelta is the second of the Pyrenees and the third mountain top finish. It starts from Andorra la Vella. The riders will climb the Collado del Cantò, climbed yesterday, and other 3 climbs to arrive at the final climb of the day: the Cerler. The climb is divided in three part and it will do a good selection.

The eleventh stage of the Tour de France is one of the hardest stages of it, but no the hardest . The stage start in Llavorsi and finish, after 205 kilometers of fatigue, in Hautacam. There are 5 terrific climb before the last climb which leads to Hautacam: after 33 kilometres there is the GPM of the Port de la Bonaigua, after its long descent the riders will face in rapid succession the Collado del Portillòn, the Col de Peyresourde and the Col d'Aspin. Then, after 15 km, there is the Legendary Col du Tourmalet. After it the riders will be very tired but there is the last climb that could make (rather will make) a lot of selection.
Start: Llavorsi
Sprint: Bagnères de Luchon
GPM: Port de la Bonaigua(HC), Collado del Portillòn(2°cat), Col de Peyresourde(1°cat), Col d'Aspin(1°cat), Col du Tourmalet(HC)
Finish: Hautacam(HC)
