So, we have quite a varied, rather young team. I’ll admit that it is ridiculously multi-national and I have made the unforgivable choice of separating the Sagan’s.
Anyway, this is how the team pans out. We have 3 leaders.

He will be our main climber, and will ideally with some training be a contender for la Tour, as well as some of the other stage races, such as Paris-Nice. |

Our other leaders will be R. Hesjedal and L. L. Sanchez. They will be aiming for the Giro and la Vuelta, where they will help each other out, hopefully as big contenders.

We then have 6 protected riders including: e. Boasson Hagen, J. Hoogerland, M. Nieve, R. Porte, P. Sagan and T. van Garderen.
Goals for the season
However, whilst our grand tour plans don’t seem to be too difficult, I’d like to be challenging for several key jerseys, such as the points jerseys in both the Giro and Vuelta. This I hope will be possible thanks to our main sprinter E. Boasson Hagen and a deep sprinting side including: A. Blythe, G. Nizzolo, Appollonio, R. Feillu, J. Degenkolb and T. Vaitkus.
Also, I’d hope to contend for some of the classics of the season, mainly thanks to G. Thomas, M. Burghardt and B. Eisel. I’m not expecting to take Paris-Roubaix by storm, but it would be nice.

Australian Championships
Ambition:
A win for R. Porte. I know that he doesn’t have any support riders, and isn’t in the best of fitness (65pts), he is a good enough rider to be one of the contenders and we are looking for big things from him.

On what difficult are you playing if you do it on Easy - Normal you should attack on the beginning of the day because normally the teams don't persuit you |

Race Report:
A breakaway of 7 riders create a breakaway and put good distance between themselves and the pack. The breakaway includes Wilson (Garmin-Carvelo), King (Team Type 1), Renshaw (HTC Columbia), Howard (HTC Columbia), Anderson (Endura), Docker (Skil-Shimano) and Brown (Rabobank)
The group builds up a maximum lead of 4'30''.
Then at the 90km to go mark, Porte attacks, along with O'Grady (Leopard Trek), Sulzberger (FDJ) and A. Davis (Astana) in order to waken up the peleton. It works.
By 69km to go, the escapees are caught.
It doesn't last long though as with 57km to go, 7 riders set off on their own, creating two groups. The first including O'Grady (Leopard Trek), Sulzberger (FDJ), A. Davis (Astana) and Matthews (Rabobank).
The second groups consists of Anderson (Endura), King (Team Type 1) and Docker (Skil-Shimano).
They build up a 2'45'' lead, until Porte gets fed up and starts pulling the peleton.
Even though he is laying down a fast, the gap only drops to about 2'15'' in 10kms. Finally Porte gets bored and attacks with 8km to go, leaving Evans in the dust.
Up at the front, the pace is still going strong. Going into the sprint, A. Davis leaves them all behind to take the victory.
Porte finishes 5th, a good finish. Not quite what I was looking for, but still pleased with that. |

I'm starting to realise that now. That is a good piece of advice. Sadly too late for Porte. |

Porte's Review
"I'm a little dissappointed that I didn't do better there today. Whilst my fitness wasn't great, it was clearly better than most of the others. Sadly I didn't have enough support from the peleton to close down the final gap, so I'll accept 5th place and aim to do better during the rest of the season." |

Australian Championships ITT
Ambition:
Again I would like to see a win for R. Porte. Earlier he showed he has better fitness than the others, and now he can really show it!
Sadly I forgot to take screen shots but I did export the results:
1. R.Porte Emperors 44'44''
2. M. Rogers Sky +22''
3. R. Sutherland UnitedHealthCare +59''
4. C. Evans BMC +1'07''

8. T. Meyer Garmin-Cervelo +2'18''
9. M. Matthews Rabobank +2'40''
10. L. Roberts Saxobank +2'58''
Porte's Review
Yes! I knew that I could do it having seen that I had far better fitness than my main contender, Evans. But to actually do it. I'm laughing all the way to the podium! |

Tour Down Under Stage 1
Ambitions:
Hopefully a stage win. I've got a strong sprinting squad with me, but everything depends on the fitness of the main opponents, Farrar and Boonen.
The stage started well for our team, as Pauriol takes the maximum 16 points and takes the climbers jersey.
With 83km to go, 13 riders finally create a breakaway. This includes Hunt (Sky), Sicard (Euskaltel), Trussov (Katusha), Righi (Lampre), Goddaert (AG2R), Posser (Katusha), Howard (HTC Columbia), Gardeyn (Vansoleil), Bonnet (FDJ), Roberts (Saxobank), Finetto (Liquigas), Wyss (BMC) and Sergent (RadioShack).
Intermediate Sprint 1:
Goddaert
Wyss
Hunt
Intermediate Sprint 2:
Gardeyn
Posser
Finetto
The break makes a mazimum time of 5'30'' before the peleton decides to reel them in. Garmin and Vacansoleil doing most of the work.
The peleton catches the escapees with 5km to go. Our team starts to make the pace at the front.
Our team starts with Porte leading Degenkolb leading Sagan being the final lead out man for Boasson Hagen The lead out works perfectly, with Boasson Hagen edging out M. Breschel by a matter of inches.
Results:
1. E. Boasson Hagen Emperors 3h19'04''
2. M. Breschel Rabobank s.t.
3. T. Farrar Garmin-Cervelo s.t.
4. T. Bonnen Quick-step s.t.
5. P. Sagan Emperors s.t.
6. P. Ligthart Vacansoleil s.t.
7. B. Swift Sky s.t.
8. M. Marcato Vacansoleil s.t.
9. M. Kump Geox s.t.
10. D. Rollin FDJ s.t.
Hagen's review
"I really have to thank my lead out team. They left me in the best position possible to get this win. I've got to dedicate this win to them."

Tour down Under
Ambitions
Try and hold onto the jerseys we have (i.e. all of them) Another win would be nice but not necessary.
Pauriol definately deserves the combativity award for today. He attacked, not once...
...not twice...
...but three times.
During this time, there was the first intermediate sprint:
1. Bonnet (FDJ)
2. Pauriol (Emperors)
3. Keisse (Kathusa)
The Peleton keeps up a quick pace, only allowing a breakaway to make about a minute. Then came the intermediate climb:
1. Wegelius (UnitedHealthCare)
2. Pauriol (Emperors)
3. Arvesen (Sky)
Finally a breakaway is established. Lorenzetto (Astana) sets off alone, creating a maximum gap of 3'40''.
He takes the 2nd Intermediate Sprint, with Boasson Hagen sprinting to 2nd place ahead of Wyss (BMC) to increase his lead over both the points and the general classification.
With 36km to go, the peleton starts to pull back the gap, with Rabobank and Garmin-Cervelo doing most of the work.
10km and Lorenzetto still has a lead. Can he hold on to it?
Sadly for him, no. He gets caught by our team train with 7km to go.
The leadout trains work well, and with 1km to go it comes down to a 2 man race between Hagen and Breschel (Rabobank).
Who will make it?...
...the storming Norwegian does it again! |

Pauriol's reaction
"I'm so happy that I managed to hold onto my mountain jersey. It took a lot of work to get anywhere, with the peleton not letting anything get away. So I'm really pleased to still have this jersey." |

You should remove the circles and the names over the riders before taking a screenshot. Will look much better then.
Remove names: Tab
Remove circles: '
And nice start.
