Catched up with your story, some great results and really like updated stats and info of the riders Now let's hope Coppel can do Top 10. With National Bonus, I think it is possible. Let's hope for best !

Thanks! i should have a few reports tonight as the first few stages are flat and i won't have a sprinter there though Coppel making top 10 is a chance it depends on if his form picks up as you can see from Haut Var.
Edit: ohh and nice win in Geelong!
Spoiler still haven't got as many wins as me yet though

Info: First flat stage is here we will try to get in the break and take the KOM points.
Start of the sdtage 15 riders went away all to be in with a chance of the points at the top of the first hill of the stage we sent Remy Cusin in there in the hope he could get the points at the top of the hill.
Unfourtuanatly for us Rabon of HTC - Highroad got the points at the top of the hill but Remy did manage to get a point for finshing in 3rd in the sprint. Just after this this break was caught by the peleton.
Another break went away for the day including Mathieu Ladagnous. They shared the bonus seconds at the sprints along the stage with Tom Veelers getting the 3 seconds at both sprints with Mathieu getting a 1 second bonus.
These were caught as Liquigas set a high pace to try and get Sagan to the front for the sprint Denis Galimzyanov was in his wheel.
Sabatini set off Sagan -> Galimzyanov -> Guardini -> Thomas were in the wheel.
But this was easy for Sagan he is flying away from the group no one can get near him
And he wins the stage and takes it from Guardini and Thomas. Davis and Boonen round out the top 5 while for Look Mathieu Ladagnous manged to move to 8th in the GC because of the bonus seconds took from him being in the break.

Info: Second flat stage and with no KOM points on offer we will try and get in the break and then after that see what happens coming up to the finish.
Boring day we didn't get in the break so lets skip to the sprint as Quick - Step dominanted up front with Terpstra and Marc de Maar until
2 riders attack Langeveld and Popovych Liquigas were right on the tails though and they caught them with just under 3km to go
So the sprint was on between Sagan and Bozic which one of them could produce the telling final kick everyone else was out of it thanks to a brillant lead out by Sababtini again.
And Sagan rounded of his teammates good work a good sprint by bozic and with an uphill kicvk with 20km to go tommorow Sagan extends his GC lead.

Info: This third stage has a big climb with just 10 km to go which may knock some of the better sprinters out of the peleton and give Cyril a chance of a stage win unlikely though as Sagan will rpobably stay around apart from that it's keeping Jerome out of trouble.
Early Break included a couple of big names including McEwan, Poels and Kroon.
Astana lead the race into the climb obviusly Davis was feeling good today and with help from Quick Step the pack was really flying over this short climb
Poels led the break over the top though with 10km to go the front 6 which would form had a 1 minuate lead.
Astan lead the peleton over the top Coppel had stayed well to the front was going well as was Gautier further down though some riders were really sturggling.
51 riders were in the groupetto including Guardini, Sivtsov, Sorensen, Navarro and Petter Veilts they would lose around 3 minuates at the end of the day.
But up front with 3km to go the break was just in front and about to get caught Liquigas's train had failed and Astana were taking it up untill...
Sagan shot like a bullet down the other side of the road Davis , Bozic and Boonen follow
And there catching him can he hang on for stage number 3?
No Tom Boonen has taken the last flat stage of this years Paris - Nice with a hilly stage tommorow and plenty of favourites losing big time today Jerome is feeling really good about his chance of a top 10 hopefully we can get in the break tommorow as well.
Export didn't work ARGH!

Info: The first hilly stage of this year Paris - Nice is here and we hope to keep Jerome up there with the time trial coming in 2 days time.
Ladagnous , Pinotti and Navarro made an extremely strong break to start the day with they would fight for all the KOM points with Navarro getting 24 Ladagnous 22 and Pinotti 21 in the end.
Then 50km to go Muravyev and Visconti attacked from the peleton and started to bridge across to the breakaway they had a 2 minuate lead over the peleton as they approached the break.
And at the start of the next climb they went by the break as they started to reach the top of the final climb.
Cyril Gautier then attack from the group behind in the hope of getting a few extra seconds at the sprint point.
Gautier was 3rd at the sprint point but he could never reach the two in front as he was in no man's land and eventually with 5km to go he was caught by the peleton.
And as the sprint started Mauro Finetto started the sprint and had a good gap on everyone else
Finetto has an even bigger gap now he is still going well as well can anbody get near him with Thomas and Gutierrez coming from just in behind.
But no Finetto wins another win for Liquigas to add to the 2 early from Sagan. Gautier and Coppel are in the top 20 in the GC as well with another hilly stage tommorow followed by a TT

Quiet so far for Look Pro, but we expected that. Now Coppel needs to do good TT and maintain the position, with Gautier as his domestique he should do well enough, hoping for a Top 10 or even Top 5 with bit of luck !

Nice pic of the break today include Poels but was never really going anywhere.
And with 20km to go at the bottom of the long climb they were broguht back into the bunch. With Look on the front keep the pace high for Jerome Coppel.
The attacks are coming first Krueziger , Sagan follows with A.Schleck on his wheel
Sagan hits the red and is brought back by 8 riders behind Krueziger and A.Schleck are away. Coppel is being paced back up to the group by Pinot who is doing a great job but Cyril Gautier is still with the favourites.
Gautier sits on the group while Coppel is in behind trying to get back to the group attacks are firing off everywhere with Taarmae and Horner having a try.
Coppel gets to the back of the pack but is knackered and near enough falls off over the top Cyril is with him and gaining time on the group ahead.
Now Krueziger has gone for it the attacks aren't stopping Schleck has no response only 1 min back to Coppel.
Who is getting dropped by Cyril. Cyril keeps dropping back for Jerome though and the time to the Sagan group is falling.
Diaster strikes in front!!!!!!!!!! Krueziger is down.
By time he is up he is in Jerome's group a bad time to fall for the Astana team leader.
Meanwhile ahead Andy Schleck wins the stage.
Cyril is amazingly strong and even follows Romain Krueziger in the sprint 1"08 back on the Leader but..
He distances Jerome who finshes 1"28 down so his loses wern't amazingly bad as hopefully he should be top 10 aftert the TT.

Quiet so far for Look Pro, but we expected that. Now Coppel needs to do good TT and maintain the position, with Gautier as his domestique he should do well enough, hoping for a Top 10 or even Top 5 with bit of luck !
Top 5 seems a bit more unlikely after today Top 10 is still on though with the TT on the next stage. |

Info: Try and gain some time today and put either Coppel or Gautier in the top 10 overall.
The break today included Peter Velits of HTC he was already way down in the GC though the peleton was not content to let this break get away and it was pulled back with over 92km to go.
We decided to take to the front of peleton and succeeded in getting the peleton down to 92 riders at the top of the big climb of the day with Thibaut Pinot doing massive damage near the top.
Of course this enabled an attack which cam from Antohny Charteau and Rinaldo Nocentini two french squads went out the front with Euakstel pulling them back they obviously had something planned.
And sure enough as soon as they were pulled back Anton springs from the pack he isn't going anywhere though
So he tries again and sure enough another 8 riders go with him including Jerome and Cyril from our team!
Astana wern't letting them get away though and HTC were helping them pull this break back unlucky for us it seemed
This did mean the peleton was down to 38 riders with massive gaps appearing throughout the race as...
The uphill sprint starts Hesjedal is on the right but Mercato is leading the charge on the left.
It's between these two there neck and neck Thibaut Pinot is going great guns for us in the hunt for 3rd place in this picture.
But hesejedal beats Marcato an 11 second gap to the next 38 riders with all the top 25 apart from Popovych and Gerdemann finishing in the lead group on to tommrow now can either Cyril or Jerome make the top 10?

Nice finish with Thibaut...strong....it´s still possible to finish in top10...althought for that you must take Gutiérrez from there(that wouldn´t be nice) but i hope Coppel can do it.

Info: Put either Coppel or Gautier in the top 10 overall.
Hi everyone sorry for the long absense but with sixth form and everything something has to take a backseat and it was PCM but with half term i'm ready put together a couple more reports unfourtuanatly though this wasn't one as i went to load the replay it says this:
As you can see the bottom one is meant to be Nice - Nice but has for some reason got a different race profile so to put what happenend in this final stage into words this happenend.
Start attack by Gautier massive breaks in the peleton followed at one point Gautier lead the race and Sagan was in E4 wiggins in E3 but this calmed down over the last hill with only Horner out of the top 10 not in the leading group of 60. Top 10 Coppel! And i thought everything would calm down to the finish when Krueziger lanuched a massive attack and was followed by Coppel and Taaramae these stayed together untill 1km to go when they were swallowed up by the peleton and he winner of the stage Mateo Carrara unlucky with the stage but Coppel Top 10!
