@mascered Yeah, I got a little confused there. His name is KB Brady not KB Brown as I misnamed him in the first post. I'll go and edit that.

Hi readers,
Stage 3 is coming up and I'm ready for some top quality cycling. Hopefully we can build on yesterday's great performances and defend our leaders jerseys.
After a boring first 50kms, a two man break formed between Yohann Gene and Fabian Bacquet and they had about 2'30" on the pack.
WIth 100kms to go, the pair of Frenchman out front had a lead of 4'32" and growing.
Bacquet won the last set off intermediate sprint points and they headed up the climb with a lead of 5'26" on the pack.
At the back of the pack, it seemed Tony Gallopin has had a fall. Luckily, he and everyone else escaped uninjured..
The top of the climb was soon reached, and with no attacks, it would probably come down to a sprint. Gene and Bacquet led by 4'05" and were going strong.
Paul Martens attacked soon but nobody followed, and he would be going alone. He was soon caught and the peloton started to chase down the breakaway.
But with 23kms to go, the break had somehow grown their lead to 6'00"! Very slack effort by Team NetApp who looked as if they were setting the pace.
Gene and Bacquet were battling it out for the win. And Bacqeut takes it in a hard sprint for the line. Well done by these two guys!
The trains are taking form for that decisive third place.
Liquigas go a little late and AG2R's L. Mondory closes out the French podium. Finetto is 8th and Sagan 11th.
1. F. Bacquet - BigMat Auber 93 - 4h39'36"
2. Y. Gene - Team Europcar -+0"
3. L. Mondray - AG2R La Mondiale - +4'30"
4. D. Impey - Team NetApp - +4'30"
5. S. Dumoulin - Cofidis - +4'30"
... 8. M. Finetto -Liquigas Cannondale - +4'30" 11.P. Sagan -Liquigas Cannondale - +4'30"
Another break win and Impey will probably hold onto the leaders jersey. Finetto and Sagan will do their best but it looks just out of reach now.

Dear readers,
Unfortunantely, my PCM had a hissy fit and decided to delete a random number of my career save games, including this one. I am very dissapointed, but will now concentrate on just my Tim Roe story. Stay tuned, for I may start a new team story in the future, but for now, I am happy with just 1.
