ITV is as free as the BBC, you have to pay equal amounts money to watch both. The fact that that money all goes to the BBC is irrelevant


My point about saying it is free is that you pay nothing towards their program content. Of course, you still have to pay for the licence fee, but ITV provide their content free of charge Wink

Its all irrelevant, Ecclestone wants more money, Sky are a multi billion pound firm, so he wouldnt turn Sky down. And nothing is free in life, personally I am not to fussed is its on Sky or BBC, aslong as Martin Brundle is still commentator than im happy. BBC wont ditch any other programmes or channels to ditch F1 because BBC 2 has its fair share of comedy, BBC 3 is full of comedy and also gives the millions of music fans who miss out of summer festivals that chance to watch and listen, and you have to cater for the old so therefore BBC 4 cant go Grin
