It's surprising to not see Maksimov nor Vantomme here. This is probably the sprint classic that suits them most, short and dead flat. And it's even a HCrace, with lots of points up for grabs.
Having said that, it's going to be an extremely interesting sprint, and like many others, I'm wondering how many sprint trains we will see. Looking forward to it!

Yeah stupid me. One reason might be my unexperience and on the other reason I thought I can`t compete here when not taking part in the Tour Down Under. Total nonsense of course. ^^
But with Bennati, Mohs etc. I wouldn`t have made the podium I think, so the big points are gone. (At least it sounds better when repeating it many times now. )

70 points for 4th where a win in the C1 races is worth 80
Jayco Red Bull team boss went out early this morning with the Control team riders that included Aussie vetern Bradley McGee.
Here is a video of what those three tight left handers:
It is a 4.7 km circuit. The left handers are at 400m, 1500m and 3200m respectively. After the last corner you have a 1.5km straight. The last corner is really tight a good 145 degree turn or so.
Riders are gathered at the start line, the rain has eased off though the clouds remain hoovering over looking menacing.
The bookmakers are making Bennati, Vaitkus and Ciolek favourites. Huge cheer as Oz cycling take to the startline with seven Australians on the squad, plenty of waves from Mark Renshaw.
There will be updates over twitter if you wish to monitor goings on!
My lead-out went perfectly.....wrong. Fothen attacking and Keisse in the 2nd group
10th isn´t that bad, though, but i hope for better results in the next race. Congrats to Davis, nice to see that Bennati can be beaten
Greipel getting 6th. Could have been worse, and better. Greipel was in a bad position after the last turn, and was one of the fastest (I think) after that.
I hope all those 5th places will be enough for Bianchi..
Too bad Lequatre couldn't get away as he was in for this kind of race situations
