Ok, maybe it was too easy to increase bugdet in the previous edition, but at least there was an incentive to plan your season to try to please your sponsor and to achieve sponsor goals. Now, all that management side of the game is gone. I liked very much this edition´s sponsor screen with all those variables to attend to - and i am gutted that it hasn´t been implemented  |

So in 2016 I get to pick out of 3 sponsors and the amount is random, so this is bugged. Since France is on holiday in august I dont think there will be a patch to correct is problem.
At this moment I haven't installed the patch and I dont think i am gonna install it since it messes up the career challenge.
But the extra feature in this latest patch is the AI and finding new riders. Cant the AI find new riders in tehe 1.0.3. version? Because that is also very important to a career mode and than I have to think which feature I think is more important. |

Vatos: Not in the default DB, but it's pretty easy to fix the problem in the DB (change the scouting zones in DYN_team). |

I have a problem with the sponsors too.
I changed them to Apple and Festina, but they have no goals? How do I fix that? |

If you assign sponsors yourself, you also have to set the goals yourself (DYN_objectif). |

I have a scout searching for sponsors since january(i'm in may). It's the best scout i can get but he haven't found me a sponsor yet even if he's searching in the whole world... is it normal? |

I think your current sponsor must be in the last year to find some new sponsors
I play with a in-game custom team with a 3 year sponsor contract, so I didn't care about sponsor search yet

terminate it quickly, it's costing you about 9k per week
as lachi said, you get given the choice of 3 sponsors anyways when the season finishes |

There's a problem with Patch 1.0.4.4 which prevents the agents from finding any sponsors.
Edit: Actually, I'm not so sure. Some people say that there's a bug, others say it works just fine.

Hi Cruetrue,
I am one of the ones that didnt have the problem.. now i do.. i did some experimenting with a new De Rosa savegame, and found the following :
If i sent an agent out to search national and above, i had no issues whatsoever.. the agent stuck around, took his money every 2 weeks and eventually found a potential sponsor or 2..
However, i sent random regional agents to various parts of Italy, and for every 1 of those, after 2 weeks searching i got the dreaded empty email which i had to click on to continue the game, and the agent disappeared...
What the bug looks to be, is that no sponsors have been dedicated to the regions in the DB, so the agent cant find one, and that empty email should be an email saying "no sponsor available in selected region" or some such.
Also, i after starting 1 national search and 1 regional search, i opened Lachi's editor and there was a DYN_Businessman tab.. when clicking on that, i could see what looked like the National scout with about 5-6 potential sponsors to look at, whilst the regional sponsor had none...

First we have to find the problem before we can have a solution. Duckman wrote that it might be related to the regional agents. Avoid them and look if it works. |

well, under vers 1 of the PCMDaily pack, i tried exactly the same thing again.. this time, after 2 weeks when searching for a regional sponsor, the Email popped up and it wasnt blank, it actually said there is no sponsor in this reason so search is cancelled immediately.
I daresay that either PCMdaily pack has no regional sponsors, or does not have them for every region... stick to national and above and you should avoid the issue...

Unfortunatly not. It happens with all types of sponsors / scouts (worldwide I can't tell because I can't send a scout there with Liquigas. Is that normal?)
Is it possible to manually link a certain sponsor to a certain region so that the scouts would find something there?
