Stage 3

i648.photobucket.com/albums/uu204/Ste117_2009/PCM0009.jpg

Flat stage today, a bunch sprint is expected with the likes of Marcel Kittel and Yukiya Arashiro going for victory.

i648.photobucket.com/albums/uu204/Ste117_2009/PCM0011.jpg

Todays break contained 14 rider's these included very good rider's like Ignatas Konovalovas.

i648.photobucket.com/albums/uu204/Ste117_2009/PCM0012.jpg

Europcar controlling the peleton, the team of the yellow jersey showing that they want a good sprint as Arashiro is feeling good.

i648.photobucket.com/albums/uu204/Ste117_2009/PCM0013.jpg

Win for Arashiro, with 1km to go he looked out of it but Yohann Gene done a brilliant job to just about keep him in touch, good job sir, Jimmy Engoulvent came across 2nd for Saur Sojasun with Davy Commeyne 3rd for Landbouwkrediet.

Stage 4

i648.photobucket.com/albums/uu204/Ste117_2009/PCM0001-4.jpg

Today's is suited perfectly for those time trail specalists in the peleton. Today's route is well suited for Svein Tuft and Ignatas Konovalovas, who are undoubtedly the best time trailist here.

i648.photobucket.com/albums/uu204/Ste117_2009/PCM0002.jpg

Konovalovas was the first of the big favourites for today's stage to set off he came in 10th 38 seconds down on today's winner.

i648.photobucket.com/albums/uu204/Ste117_2009/PCM0003-4.jpg

Paul Voss was next off, the German came in 3rd 12 seconds down.

i648.photobucket.com/albums/uu204/Ste117_2009/PCM0008-1.jpg

Damien Gaudin, he can go well in a time trail but with low fitness we don't expect him to do well, he had set the fastest time at the first time check but came in 24th 45 seconds down.

i648.photobucket.com/albums/uu204/Ste117_2009/PCM0009-1.jpg

Last off and the yellow jersey Christophe Kern, Kern can time trail but we don't expect him to win today, he came in 2nd 6 seconds down.

i648.photobucket.com/albums/uu204/Ste117_2009/PCM0006-1.jpg

Today's winner came as no surprise, it was Svein Tuft, the Canadian blew the rest away he won by 6 seconds over Kern.

Stage 5

i648.photobucket.com/albums/uu204/Ste117_2009/PCM0001-5.jpg

Stage 5 finishes on top of a farely steep climb, though not as steep as the finish on stage 2 it will still test the best of the punchy riders here.

i648.photobucket.com/albums/uu204/Ste117_2009/PCM0003-5.jpg

Today's break only contained 2 rider's, after attacking for a quater of the stage these were riders the peleton let go. They are Victorino and Cano Ardila.

i648.photobucket.com/albums/uu204/Ste117_2009/PCM0004-3.jpg

On the final climb Pablo Lastras was the first to attack, what will the other favourites do.

i648.photobucket.com/albums/uu204/Ste117_2009/PCM0006-3.jpg

Geschke another favourite attacks.

i648.photobucket.com/albums/uu204/Ste117_2009/PCM0007-1.jpg

Traksel followed, now will Kern go or use his teammates.

i648.photobucket.com/albums/uu204/Ste117_2009/PCM0008-2.jpg

Yohann Gene comes to the front of the peleton and ups the pace to try and bring back Traksel and Geschke. Kern has placed trust in his team today.

i648.photobucket.com/albums/uu204/Ste117_2009/PCM0009-2.jpg

Traksel wins now what is the time gap back to Kern.

i648.photobucket.com/albums/uu204/Ste117_2009/PCM0010.jpg

Kern comes across the line 2 minutes 25 seconds down, now does he keep his jersey.

No just poor tactics from me, he had -2 for the day but I decided to see if the rest of my team could bring them back but the climb was too short.

Stage 6

i648.photobucket.com/albums/uu204/Ste117_2009/PCM0001-6.jpg

Another finish suited for those hill climbers today.

i648.photobucket.com/albums/uu204/Ste117_2009/PCM0003-6.jpg

Today's break contained 8 riders including Europcar's Bernaudeau and Saur Sojasun's Laurent Mangel.

i648.photobucket.com/albums/uu204/Ste117_2009/PCM0004-4.jpg

Attack by Pablo Lastras of Movistar on the sharp incline before the final climb.

i648.photobucket.com/albums/uu204/Ste117_2009/PCM0005-3.jpg

Straight away Europcar come to the front, Yohann Gene continuing his great domestique role he has done so well throughout this tour for Kern.

i648.photobucket.com/albums/uu204/Ste117_2009/PCM0006-4.jpg

At the finish it was a win Kern, which confirms, with tomorrow's flat stage that he will win Tour de San Luis.

Break of 10 rider's went away, this was not threatening at first until 20km to go, when surprisingly the teams interested in victory stopped pulling on the front, this forced Europcar to the front. The break was eventually caught with 10km to go.

A win for Bobbie Traksel of Landbouwkrediet, second for Rabobank's Micheal Matthews and third for Europcar's Thomas Voeckler.
