Hi. I seemto have a problem after the patch. Now at the start of each section, the game only allows me to select 1 or 2 of my riders even though all my riders are in the peleton. Also if one of my riders is in a breakaway, it only lets me select that rider at the start of a section. Does anyone else have this problem? |

Well since it's a console, it's not a problem, just a gameplay adjustment. There is nothing you can do about it. |

I've got the same problem, pretty annoying.

I asked a question about it on the cyanide forums. They said that if you hit the circle button it will cycle through the riders for you to choose. I haven't tried it yet myself |

Apparently the xbox patch is already available since a couple of days. A few guys on the french forum have already downloaded it.
The DLC should therefore arrive soon. |

We have a first date for the Criterium International DLC coming on November 9th to PSN Store. These dates depend entirely on SONY, we've just got confirmation that the package was approved, but the date it becomes online are entirely managed by them, don't blame us if there are delays later hein...
For Xbox we dont have yet official confirmation but should be around the same dates.
For the other types of DLC we are still awaiting confirmation. |

For those who wonder, the pack includes the 3 stages of the Criterium International, with 7 sections for the first mountain stage, 3 sections for the second stage and 1 section for the final time-trial. The expected length of the pack for 1 Team is around 3-4h.

I recently bought the pack to PS3. And i enjoy it. A lot of sections in the stages. A whole TT stage. And it lasts long. Well worth the money.
Are you planing on releasing another Grand Tour, or one of the Classics?
Edit: Though it might be a bit early to ask, are you planing on implenting a season mode in the next years edition? A season mode as in the PSP verision? That would be very great, and would make the game last much longer.

Yesterday I was online at XBOX Live and the Power Up Package is also up
And there is also a 80MSP player picture package:
1 TDF logo picture with a black background
3 pictures:
Each one shows a rider close up so you can see also the jersey
1 "Cavendish" picture from the PCM2011 cover he is also there in yellow
1 darker picture with someone wearing the white jersey
1 picture with someone in green somehow it seems also from a PCM cover/front screen from 2009-2011 I guess
Also it seems that the DB is also out.. for 160MSP.. Seriously?
Even though it's "just" 160MSP.. Every other game gives DB updates for free.. EA Sports games, 2K Sports games etc.
If it would include getting the real Leopard team jerseys and riders ok as the licenses are expensive but for things that could be made easily if there would be an editor
If you want to make money then I would have a better suggestion:
Try to make avatar apparals as they are ~240MSP (almost every stuff) - 400MSP (Star Wars stuff they are playing the "cool stuff" card like saber swords.. But 400 is too much for that) and there is no cycling related apperal at the Avatar marketplace..
I guess some TDF jerseys, avatar standing on the TDF podium or especially the avatar with a bike would be a better thought of how getting people buy your stuff
And somehow a lot of people seem to buy these stuff.. A friend of mine bought a complete Forza 4 racing outfit with Helmet/racing suit/racing gloves..
I will buy the game at christmas but none of the DLCs I guess
I don't know if there is a next step for next year, I hope so as the response about this game wasn't that bad as I thought it would be -> cycling -> boo f... dopers
But I think there could be 2 options:
- Making "Tour de France 2" with the ASO license
So you can also ride the other ASO races like Paris-Roubaix, LBL, Fleche, Paris-Nice, Dauphine etc. for example
- Making a PCM like game for the XBOX360/PS3..
I could imagine something like the PSP version so you have a career mode, historic teams etc., maybe a bit more advanced/thought out unlike the TDF09 arcade game, the response about that was bad, at XBOX Live they aren't even showing the arcade cover of this game
With more advanced I think something of the PCM on PC without having to hammer A for your rider to sprint, a better graphic like at the TDF game..
Taking the response about the games you made for the "next-gen" consoles into account, I guess a TDF2 would be great for next year
The idea for this game is really good (don't get me wrong with the stuff above but I don't think I will definetly need the Criterium with the 3 stages, a power up package or the updated DB as it costs and the game works also without that DLC) as a lot of people seeing the TDF thinking "I want to play this somehow on the PC/console" like TDF game and PCMs on PC but the next step has to be something more advanced then just the TDF I guess or what works everytime is much better graphics somehow

Really stupid question but how do I get the X360 patch? I normally expect it to autoprompt/load but not doing it and can't find a way to force it through the marketplace. Help please!

Glad to say after restarting the computer a couple of times it's up. Not sure if it impacts saved games but (playing as team sky) was surprised to see Wiggins come in 80th in the individual TT?! Not sure how that works if they've patched the engine for that stage! I'm also struggling to find the minute in the TT with Lofkvist to get in the GC top ten against a bunch of climbers.
Interested in the database update but worried Team Sky might get undersold again. All I want is for Wiggins not be blown away when a minor climb approaches. I've seen people report being able to get GC results with him but I simply can't get him climbing. I like the idea of the Criterium add on. Just finished David Millar's book and fancy playing as him for it. I've never bought an Xbox add on but will probably get 1000 credits and buy those two. Feed bottles sounds like an artificial gimmick to me.

Just to report back on the downloadable content. Database update seems accurate from results so far although maybe it's just the way things are going but I'm finding it easy to get breakaway victories (with the Sky team) in the first 9 stages.
The Criterium is awesome for the first mountain stage. Awesome course and scenery - really hard fought stuff and my opinion was obviously swayed by getting a 5 minute lead and breakaway win first time up with Lofkvist. Short flat stage and 7km TT are blah but that mountain stage is awesome with many different playable areas and opportunities to attack and break up the race with tactics. |

The DLC sounds good but the cost is a problem...
I had the choice of getting the DLC for this or buying PCM 2011 for PC (both the same price) and I decided to go for PCM because it has loads more and you can edit it...
I will still use the PS3 one occasionally though... |
