But still Cadel Evans has become more of a classics rider and he feels much more better on short and steep hills than on long climbs (thanks just my opinion). So you shouldn't be shocked, that tomorrow he could possibly have a typical Cadel Evans "black day". |

Revenge day tommorow for the Schlecks And Leopard should finally decide who is the captain. If not they have no chance to win anything.

My bet will be that one of the Schlecks, probably Fränk, will attack at Izoard or Agnel. Before that Leopard would have sent 1-2 riders in the early break - who very well could be the strong Jens Voigt, and maybe Gerdemann or Monfort. They will make a hilarious big pace with the rest of the team, 3-4 km, and then send one of the Schleks. I can't see other opportunities for them right now.
Another interesting situtation wil be the Saxo Bank blowing the field apart. I hope that Navarro is ready, which he showed tuesday, and Chris Anker, who actually feels pretty good though we hadn't seen him alot in the front. If they're up to their best i think that will be the case.

This is that really cool stage from the 2008 Giro all over again, but with the Lautaret and Galibier after the Briançon finish line
Yeah you are right, it was really great stage to watching, I remember that very well, but in 2007 Giro.

Yes, you're right. 2007. Saunier made the pace on the Agnello and then Piepoli took over on the Izoard.
Then Simoni attacked.
Still didn't drop Di Luca though.

Sadly because the Galibier is after those mountains I find it unlikely that a big favorite would already really attack on the Izoard for instance. Hopefully I'm wrong though so it would be wide open on the Galibier if a group containing only the favorites would arrive there, let alone even smaller groups |

Voeckler definitely loses his yellow jersey tomorrow (after a valiant effort over this past week). I believe that Evans will crack a bit tomorrow. I think the Schlecks, Sanchez, Contador, and possibly Vanendert finish in front. I think we could see 5 or 6 guys extremely close in the GC going into Alpe d'huez. But then again, I have been wrong before |

When did Vanendert become a better mountain climber than Evans?

Voigt, Fuglsang, Cancellara, Monfort, Posthuma, O'Grady and Gerdemann will have a hard day As Basso said in one of the interviews, if you attack out of a too big group you just waste energy. There should be just the favourites left at the Galibier if the Schlecks wanna reach something

Since evans will crack today or tomorrow.
When the favourites go all out, i don't see him following a schleck or a contador

is it just me or do none of the main hopes have a strong team around them?
is this why it is so open? |

I have actually convinced my dad that my PE teacher wanted my class to watch the entire Tour this year, and so far so good Late night tonight.

I find the Leopard team to be pretty strong. OK with Fuglsang injured or whatever is wrong with him (maybe he's just not very good) they could use an extra mountain helper. |
