how old are you Bala, if you don't mind?
I'm 19. So 2nd year senior. Dunno if it's the same in UK. Sounds like you have some talent Addy. I used to play with Danilo Arrieta when we were 11-14, and I've played In-Door with Leon Andreasen (Werder Bremen) and Tommy Bechmann (Bochum) when I was a small kid. I always expected them to take-off for Germany, then I'd be the one to wind up at Barcelona! Nah... The usual story, when the coaches start screamin at you and expect you to train four times a week, never drink and take 500 sit-ups a day...
The recent funny experience is to see Mike Tullberg - striker in the local top division club - be offered to Reggina for approx. 1 million euro. He was crap when we were kids!
When my manager shouts at me i just shout back at him
he loves it Neil, apparently whenever i shout back at him he just says to people "i like that, shows he cares about what he's doing"
you do sound really good from what you say and i don't think we have any of them 2nd year Senior things in England, if so then i don't know what they are called

Dunno, but i joined them because it was a really friendly team and over the 2 years has really grown in spirit, talent and the manager is very good. He was very friendly, pushed us hard, and really encouraged us, a great team!

Almost the same story as Isso. I stopped playing football at 13/14 and started playing the American variant of football instead I stopped with that 4 years later though (= this year), simply because I didn't have the time for it.

Are? Were, unfortunately. As said, I don't have time for it anymore.
I played 4 seasons for Avedøre Monarchs. 1 season for U16, 3 seasons for U19. |

i used to be a striker, used to score almost every game as well for around 2/3 years, but then i had a drought and now i have found i am a good defender, well, i prefer to say wing-back

I don't want to sound big-headed, but I was an extremely good right midfield, sort after by a lot of clubs, but I was happy playing with my crappy team.
I had the pace to beat the defender (and the skill), and my passing/vision was incredible. I didn't even have to look up, and I'd know exactly where to pass it, and most of the time, it was inch perfect.
And I also once scored from a corner B)
Now do I like myself or what

I think Crommy should be the Best Player of the World this season. I don't think Ronaldinho and Cristiano Ronaldo can beat him

for our team we were playing our rivals Haxby (which is incidentally where i live) and one of our guys scored 2 goals straight from the corner, obviously not me, i'm not allowed to take them
i think he scored 4 last season from a corner
and that passing thing without having to look up, i can do that, but it's pure luck, as a defender i just smack it forward to clear the lines, except whenever i do it, it turns out to be a great pass, and everyone's like "great pass Addy" and i'm like thanks
pure luck but it makes me luck good

Hehe, I think we all know those situations.
When we played "lilleput" (9 years old or so...) our team won a local tournament because one of my friends got stung by a bee on the chin, in the opposition penalty area.
He even laughed at it, though it hurt like crap when he did so
I scored from a volley with my left leg last match - and believe me, there's a reason I never play left wing! |

oh well thats a different thing all together, in fact that's almost impossible
talking of small goals, even though i have converted to defence i play up front for every tournament (mini-goal tournament) my best moment was Rawcliffe Tournament, i scored every single one of my teams goals bar 1 which was deflected wildly, i scored 11 in 7 games, with 1 hat-rick we made the final but lost
i did get man of the tournament and top goalscorer but coming 2nd was a huge blow
and to be honest i think i was drugged up, not joking, that very morning i had the worst stomach ache ever, but had this medicine, after i had it, we saw it was 7 years out of date
but it made me play awesome

ok just got back from our first friendly of the new season.
We played Hamilton Panthers who came 2nd in the top division last year, and are hoping to come 1st this year. They have been training for about a month and played a few friendlies.
We however started training on Wednesday and have had no friendlies so far, we knew it wouldn't go well
We lost 4-0 but that is a pretty good result considering our match fitness and their supiriority. Plus their 1st goal by Byram (one of my mates) was pure class, about 25 yards out left footed (his bad foot) right into the corner. Also their last goal was crap our keeper came out got his feet on the ball, but the ball bounced back, hit their guy in the face and went in
Our kepper, Kyle did some great saves to limit it to 4, 1 save was where it was going right in the bottom corner but he tipped it wide for a corner.
I played ok, but i really need some new boots, i have alot of blisters, due to my boots being too small, and after 10 minutes my right leg was bleeding, due to the pitch not being at it's best and me slide tackling
so not a bad performance, but the proper league starts next Sunday and we have a friendly against Poppleton on Wednesday night
They have won the top division for 4 years in a row (we have only been playing on full pitches for 4 years) they hardly ever lose, and alwas better teams 6, 7, 8-0 sometimes it goes into double figures also
so our hopes aren't exactly high for that game
