Really good preview.
You're absolutely right about my team. The huge interest in the German puncheurs just made me switch to sprinters. And if my lead-out men do their job about as good as I hope they will, sprinting isn't that much of a lottery anymore
Next season will see me focusing on a more balanced squad, though.
The one-dimensionality of my squad also results of my strong desire to sign many promising riders, of which you seem to forgot the most important one with Wilco Kelderman, who will be 80 HI, 80 END when maxed out
(I even payed 290k for him )

Indeed a great preview. I fully agree about my team, too.
In unrelated news, all of my riders have been informed to throw bidons at any of the volkswagen - Siemens riders
eyh, bidons hurt! Be carefull, or my riders will take a cavendish when they ride past you (in other words, fart on your riders!)

Ah, he lacks in the db version I used ;-)
But if he gets best, sell me Vogt next transfer season? (A)

But I think, I have to agree At least, some people like my team, though we can't buy anything for that.. great work with the preview. Well done!

I'm one of the once that like your team It's not the most important to sign the best team you can, but to sign a team you will enjoy yourself. And in addition to that your team looks alot like a possible RL CT team, and I like that alot

I pretty much agree on my team - I exist for one part of the season and then I should fade after that. But the cobbled season is longer than last year so I might do a bit better than 25th. I certainly hope so at least...

Very accurate review of the team, I just have a felling Roman Maksimov is going to be a hit or miss. Overall, I'm happy with being the third best out of the 12 new teams in the projected standings. But I hope we can do better than 18.

Amazing work, Heine! Great preview. I won't have a team in the CT this year, but I will hopefully watch CT as much as PT. Anyway, I see clearly 6 teams - Vespa, Rapha Condor, Bianchi, Pokerstars, Tinkoff and Volkswagen as the main favourites for the promotion, so almost same as you, I see. It will be interesting to watching if we fail as I am expecting right now.

Personally, I'd like to see Valverde take Waghlon to the Pro Tour, so he can wreak havoc there too.
Also, it seems I have to do battle with Meiji and Oz for last place Honestly though, quite surprised to see my team not dead last

Just read the whole preview. Most are pretty similar to mine, but some are different.
Btw. Unicredit appears twice in your rankings. |

amazing preview. I hope my team can make the top 10, it will set us up well for potential promotion in the following year. |

Unicredit mistake fixed Thanks for noticing it, I had to count over the total amount of teams to make sure I didn't do another mistake now ;-)

Actually I think with Moschella, Zaini, Stauff and Libert, I have some talents but not in my team this season Also Dennis is just on loan and not from me but from Festina
Somehow that doesn't fit the "rank the transfer season" trend where my team wasn't mentioned once
Lloret, De la Fuente and Cobo weren't in my team and they made this prediction happen with the old core of my team, somehow it seems that it's easier for a team thats in their 2nd season to have a better transfer season then for the teams that are in their 1st or 3rd and afterwards
Last season I had something like a good transfer season with improving the team a lot
But 1st oh god.. Smowz made a preview last season and I got better then his prediction (I think about 12th-15th and I got 10th but expected more) but 1st..
I know how to blow up the race calendar as somehow thats the worst thing I do, classics are easy but the other races I have to take because there aren't enough hill classics..^^
I think Top 5 is a must for my team (it's a season goal) but I feel like my team can't grab many (if any) wins but more Top 5 placings

Your team were so strong from before that signing Lloret, De la Fuente and Cobo wasn't enough to make you the team that did the best transfer season. With luck you would've been in the Pro Tour now, so considering you got a stronger team AND more experience than most I saw no other choise that rank you first (and then I also think you got the best team :-p).

It did amuse me when people talked about how much of a good deal Cattaneo was, and I got Monsalve at a quarter of that price
The plan for me was to get riders that could win me more stages this season whilst waiting for the talents i have to gain experience. I'm not sure my plan has worked exactly, but we'll see lol.

If I get top 15 I´m happy that would be a good improvment from last season. |

Quite frankly, if Waghlon doesn't top the rankings with that kit, then he's a terrible terrible manager. The Leopard print is worth at least 3000 points.

It's Waghlon you're talking about
*remembers a nice comment from a race thread last year*

I'm back from a weekend without Internet, it feels like I suddenly have no control of my team in the ManGame
Great preview, I fully aggree on your evaluation of my team too; it may be a great season, all depending on how well/bad my leaders perform. Hopefully I end up a little higher than 20th but I have to be lucky.
And Bianchi is without doubt the team to beat, great team, great depth. For the new teams, Venchi looks great, they should be capable to do a top 10, at least. |

I think his intentions were to blind the competition with the kits garishness...
