CT`s way works for me.
Adding a new line in STA_tga_skin, file and constant the same name, 0 into the 3rd box and the new ID in the first.
This ID you also add in DYN_cyclist.


Here my first 3 attempts with PCM11. I just did them in a hurry as I was too lazy to look for new pictures, so I used the pictures I still had from PCM10. (Martin`s hair colour could have been changed for example, but I just wanted to test the faces ingame.

But all 3 of them can`t be really identified. But at least there are some different faces then ingame.

in this pcm 2011 version I have a question ... I wonder how could you remove the helmet?

Thanks, didn't know you had to put something in constant too.

What exactly have you done?

1. Create the new face (Call it Basso_face for example)
2. Not sure if necessary, but also create the Basso,legs, Basso arms etc., Just copy another one with a similar colour and rename it.
3. Go into the database (Excel Editor, Lachi`s Editor...) STA_TGA_skin.
There are 4 boxes. First one is the ID, just create a new not used one. Type in basso in the 2nd (gene_sz_tga_skin) and 4th box (Constant).
3rd box forcebuild, not exactly sure what this is. I think if you type a 1, then he definitely takes this one as there is a 1 at the black and the Asian skin. A 0 in the other ones, that he takes a random one of the type2-5.
I used a 0 for basso and the others and it still worked. So a 0 should be fine there for the self created.
4.Go into DYN_cyclist and search for the fkIdtga_skin. Type in the ID you have created in the last table.
5. Save the DB/savegame.
6. Maybe you have to activate the "one texture per rider" option, not sure about this.

It's very, very strange. All of these steps is what I had done and does not work. The rider also has a default one...

I really think we just can have several pretty similar but a bit different faces in PCM11 to make it look more various. But we never will be able to make the faces recognizable.
At least they are already better looking than in previous years.

the nba 2k11 custom made faces available are terrific, maybe for pcm 2012 they could try using that system.. just a thought.

You have to use the direct link of the picture. preview your post then before posting. Wink

Due to his chin you can actually recognize him. But this is pretty unique in cycling. Wink Most faces are just very similar.

Wow, the faces looks way cooler than in the previous games! I like! Can those who made them please embed the pictures of Hushovd, Contador and Evans, so that i can add them?
