Just leave it in, what do you want to put in otherwise anyway? (At least for about 3 months anyway) |

In Norway it usually costs about 500 NOK, which by todays numbers is roughly £50.
But that's Norway, so...
Considering it can currently be pre-ordered in the UK for £15, ouch!
For £15 I decided to pre-order it.
Now, just got to find the time to play it..... |

DO NOT PREORDER THE GAME!This is exactly why Cyanide can get away by selling incomplete games. I think it is redicolous that PCM10 was brought out while half of the stages weren't finished en several updates were required before the game was any enjoyable. Moreover the PCM10 as a whole I find very dissapointing as still after the final update sprinting does not work properly and mass sprints in very difficult mountain stages and hilly classics are totally unrealistic.
Cyanide should be financhially punished for bringing such crap on the market and should be forced to deliver quality that way. That will never happen if everybody is going to buy PCM11 anyway...
Just sit back and wait what they deliver. Then consider buying the game. Not before! |

Yes - PCM2010 was an all time low. I had no intention of buying the new version.
I've done some testing of the new version - not as much as I would've liked as I've been busy - but I'm fairly confident it's a big enough step up from PCM2010 to buy. Especially at 15 squid. |

who are you to decide if everyone else should preorder the game or not?
PCM10 was a huge leap forward, perhaps too big taking into consideration how the final product ended up. Pepole seem to forget how much better PCM10 was compared to PCM09 in regards to the graphics, stage editor etc. Patch 1.0.4.1 actually made PCM10 quiet enjoyable for the average PCM player, myself included
it is a shame that the AI never got tweaked enough in PCM10 but to call it crap is very inaccurate. Maybe we should just appreciate that there even is a cycling game at all? Cyanide-Studios is a rather small company so hurting them financially is really a bad idea if you want PCM to be improved in the future. |

laughs,
beta testers are always positive, and then the game comes out and there are mass complaints.

The best online retailer - Amazon.uk - https://www.amazon...amp;sr=8-1
Or Play - https://www.play.c...fer=search
Though considering, if I bought this game and never heard of it before for 15£ I wouldn't exect great game and probably buggy. You have to take price into cosideration. Best games when they come out costs 25-30£ and I expect a good game for that. not buggy etc. I think price might reflect quality a little bit. I guess we will see later.

He said squid so he is obviously from the seaside where they still use fish and livestock as currency. I for example bought my computer for a goat and some herring. |

Still, it was pretty new. The guy I got it from said it had not seen many moons. He had gotten it no more then one winter ago. |

Personally i'm happy there is a game like PCM at all, so i have become a regular after i got a computer ho managed to run it... In other words, i don't care if the game isn't topp notch in every corner, as long as i see progress every year ...

When i said something similar i was shouted out that i cant blame the testers, but i still dont really understand why there are testers at all (sorry guys but as i presume you get something for testing, it seems to me that you rather get it for advertisment and saying the game is much better than the last year than for anything else).
But i still believe PCM11 will be nice exception

"As I presume you get something for testing"
The beta testers didn't receive anything in neither 2009 nor 2010, so that's a wrong assumption. |

what is that you don't understand? Cyanide needs people to test the game so they can focus on making the game instead of playing it through themselves
and as Crue points out beta testers get nothing for their efforts just like when we make Database projects for the community. |

Okay,I didnt know that. But as i know that i am even more confused why they do it at all-they do it for free and they cant really influence the appearance of final product (as i was said)-so does it make sense?
Btw. bad work is bad work - paid or not
