I am sure most of Australians will leave if GreenEdge will get Pro tour licence. And as Uran is really rising in ranks, probably Gerrans wouldn't be even a leader at Ardennes so this year I think he will leave. Arvesen hitned he would retire at the end of season. Serge Pauweels is defnitely leaving. On Augystyn it depends on how he recovers from carrer threating injury. So if they all went and Langevald came they could sign five riders more, one sprinter to replace Henderson and rest probably all climbers/GC contenders.

By the way, Cycling Weekly are reporting that Luke Rowe (currently with the GB academy) will sign a contract with Sky as well. Last year he was 5th at the U23 RVV and 11th in the U23 World champs

I suspect they will stay loyal to Augustyn to give him a chance to come back, thats what theyve done this season afterall. And I dont see them signing a sprinter to replace Hendersen, except a certain Manxman. Would be nice if they took a look at the British domestic scene though - the likes of Jonny McEvoy and Ian Bibby look promising to me.

And re: Rowe, look up a couple posts Pfft

Wink Would be nice indeed if they did take couple of British talented riders.

It looks like Boonen is going to Rabobank for 2012, to replace Langeveld.

And I bet Lefevre has the money for Gilbert. But Gilbert is also linked to Astana..

Interesting. Do you have a link to the article?

I think Sky should stay with the British sprinters, would be great if they got McEvoy because he along with Matt Brammeier is another rider who have come out of the cycling club Im a member of. Also with HTC looking like they will dispand at the end of the season signing Matt would be a good coup.

HTC looking like they will disband?

They are struggling to find a new sponsor for next season, Eurosport commentators mentioned it on one of the stages of the Dauphine earilier in the week.

Don't forget the team is owned by Bob Stapleton. A billionaire. Who is currently half the team sponsor (it's HTC - Highroad).

If Gianetti keeps finding sponsors for his crap teams, I doubt Stapleton will have any problem with a team with loads of wins.

Well, there's a few things to keep in mind:

1. Stapleton and Riis had some talks about merging their teams last year. With both of them not having sponsors for the upcoming season, those talks may continue.

2. Omega Pharma and Lotto are splitting. Omega is looking for an international team - Stapleton could be interesting for them?

I'm not sure Breschel would be too happy about it either Wink

Speaking of HTC and possible mergers:

Het Nieuwsblad also reports that HTC-Highroad could merge with US team United Healthcare if no replacement sponsor for HTC emerges

Remember how i knew Van Avermaet would go to BMC from an inside source?

Well, if just heard from that source that Gilbert might go to BMC next year aswell.
