Nice start so far with Boasson Hagen.
Anything else but victories would be a disappointment, considering the weak starting field. Is it possible to export startlists? |

Yes, while in racing click space and the click export - starlist. The starlist will appear in my docs/PCM2011/Export
Good result with Hagen, keep that up

3. Stage
First real test of the race, and Hagen will need to show that he is capable of performing in the hills also.
Todays favorites:
- Horner
- Sella
- Gerdemann
- Rogers
and of course Edvald Boasson Hagen
Todays breakaway:
- Bouyer
- Florencio
- Moser
- Kump
- Mortensen
- Kairelis
- McCartney
The breakaway quickly gains a big lead, and with 70 kms to go they are 8 minutes ahead.
There is a strong wind today, so all of our riders are situated at the front of the pack. Katusha is leading the pack, and the lead is slowly decreasing.
With 25 kms to go, all of the favorites are still waiting in the peloton. The breakaway are about 2 minutes ahead.
We pass the finishline for the second time, something has to happen soon?
Right now the pace is really slow, and the breakaway is gaining on the peloton. Now they have 2.30 mins with 10 kms to go. We send Haavardsholm forward to help catching the break.
Horner attacks!
Horner is now 20 seconds ahead, and Boasson Hagen launches his attack, with 3 kms to go. Is it too late?
Yes it was, the breakaway wins todays stage, and Hagen finishes in a disappointing 10th place.

Stage 4:
A semi-hill stage that should bring some challenges. The main question is, will Europcar defend Bouyers lead? Or will they leave that task to someone else?
I reccon this will end in a sprint, where Hagen will be the favorite. It's absolutely necessary that the breakaway doesn't go in, so that we can get the bonus seconds.
Todays break away:
- O'Grady
- Klemme
- Hincapie
- Wilson
- Briggs
- De Maar
- Marycz
- Rigotto
- Marwal
- Buffaz
With 50 kms to go the break away is 5 minutes ahead. And again the peloton ups the pace, hopefully they will keep it up this time.
23.4 kms to go and 2.34 minutes behind, Astana is now leading the peloton.
The pace has been to high for many of our riders, only EBH, Nordhaug and Haavardsholm are left at the front. The rest is struggling at the back.
With 11 kms to go, the break away is still 2 minutes in front, and we none of my riders are capable of reeling them back in.
1km to go and the break away takes the stage, and the sprint behind is pointless.

A bit bad luck on the last 2 stages but still the top favourite I think.
Maybe even better that another team will help you with the pace on Willunga Hill.

Well the problem is that when the break is close to being caught, the other teams stops relaying. And then I just have 3 riders left, and no real chance of catching the break away. |

5th Stage
This is probably going to be the decider of the race. Nordhaug and Haavardsholm will set the pace at Willunga hill, and hopefully Bouyer is going to have problems keeping up.
Todays favorites:
- A. Davis
- D. Impey
- S. Gerrans
- EBH
Todays break away:
- Pinfold
- Guerra
- Chavanel (the sprinter)
- Freire
- Nepomnyachshya
- Poulhies
- Bellis
The break aways first go at Willunga. They are 4 minutes ahead with 44 kms to go. We won't set a high pace until next time, because we don't have the team to sustain the pace.
Kristoff setting the pace before the hill.
Our riders at the front, Haavardsholm in black, Nordhaug in white and EBH in blue. We are catching the break fast! They are now just a minute ahead with 1.7 km to go to the top.
The pack is getting quite stretched over the top.
Mass sprint, Hagen has Allan Davis' wheel.
Easy!

6th stage:
If we don't manage to catch the break today we will probably lose the race. Unless we get some bonus points at one of the sprints. If we have the chance, we will definitively go for one of the sprints. I don't think Europcar will chase today, so we will probably have to do most of the work ourselves.
Todays favorites:
- Impey
- Davis
- Sutton
- EBH
Todays break away:
No riders got away, constant attacks through the stage
Kristoff leading-out EBH for the intermediate sprint.
3 bonus seconds! Something really weird has to happen now to refuse Hagen the victory.
26 kms to go, and the pack is still together, mass-sprint is inevitable.
4 kms to go, and we have control at the front.
First and second! Great stage! Are we the new HTC Columbia?
Results:
Hmm... there are two Rasmus Faraasen
Very happy with this race, almost everything went as planned. We took all the jerseys, except the mountain jersey. And with Haavardsholm on 8th and Nordhaug on 10th it was really a great team effort.
Next race is Giro della Calabria.

Would still really appreciate it if anyone made a shirt for me.

And I forgot, I don't have a shirt for the team, and would greatly appreciate if someone made one for me. No requirements, as long as it's pink and there's a big wihte tractor on the front and back. Will be much appreciated. |

I can give the shirt a shot. I'm not as good as the best shirtmakers, but you can use it if you want to |

Thanks! I don't really care, as long as I don't see that horrible cyanide shirt. |

Here's my try. Just tell me, if there's anything you don't like. I haven't made many shirts, so I still need some skills.

- Ascani
- Van Mechelen
- Muto
- Rousseau
- Rodriguez
The break had at most 6 minutes, and at
Strømmen is sent to the front. And as you can see the peloton has been split in two.
Still in two pieces, but a lot closer.
Moods leading the chase, and peloton back together. 7 kms to go and 1 minute behind.
Rake and Coppel closing the gap. 2.8 kms to go.
Nordhaug leading the sprint in front of Lampres Lorenzetto.
Great sprint by Nordhaug!

Well, we'll see how long that lasts. Right now my riders have superior form, around 85 iirc. And Boasson Hagen won't be riding anything until Tirreno and Milan - San Remo.
And btw, how do you read the xls exports? I don't have MS Office. |
