Not a bad start there, all points are welcome from this race.

Didn't lose time and luckily there weren't any time gaps in a strange stage.

Cobbles really mess things up. It was lucky for most team 100% Me won, because I reckon most other team wouldn't have been able to pull back the break

Weird old stage that one and to be pipped like that is a bit dissapointing. Nothing really working out for Vespa at the moment. |

My team seems to be allergic to doing well in GC these past couple of stage races

Same old story. Not even attacking. Did see Kruopis attacking, so because he got bonus second last stage, he was probably put as leader over Smukulis.
I guess 2 riders in the top 25 now is the best managable.

I finally worked out why Ignatiev isn't here. That tiny hill with cobbles on, that was why. |

Hope for Van Hummel or Chicchi on the next stage or the last stage so we get anything at all from this race... |

I reckon that anything with the hilly stage before the time trials makes it dangerous, for example Stannard dropped back to help Kennaugh, despite having an excellent shot at the overall had he stayed in the peleton

I have mixed feelings from this stage...TOP3 overall seems to be without the reach anymore, but TOP10 (1st season goal) is getting closer now...will wait impatiently for upcoming stages

Milka and LEGO step forward into the limelight here. Milka were very awesome here - with both Hushovd and Dall'Antonia decent TTers as well - this race could be quite excellent for them.
Plenty of decent TTers' though in that large group of riders behind ... at a glance I see Olman, Vandborg, Aramendia and Dempster all riders that in the absence of Ignatiev would be favourites for moving forward in the TT. Of course Clement and Craven are already forward but too far for me behind the top three to catch them.
mb: Good job on the reports here and in Channel Islands.

Fuck that, Kessiakoff got 78 in fighting but would he attack? No he wouldn't!

you are not alone in being disappointed about no attacks, Hoogerland has 82 in fighting and quite good on hills and okey on flat... better luck next time I guess. |

Weird to see Verbist attack today - if he'd gone yesterday in the closing 20 kilometers he could probably have put minutes into everyone.

Fantastic stage for me! 1-2 for Hushovd and Dall'Antonia in this stage? I have to be really happy and lucky guy, great ride by all my team. It seems Thor is now really close to the overall win here and Dall'Antonia with De Gendt can achieve a top 10 overall result here. Now I only hope in good time trial and there will be no crashes and strong wind in the last stage..
