From the FAQ:
After installing this DB, the game tends to crash mid-way through a stage - why?
The equipment and improved stages take up more RAM than the original game. If your game crashes, it's unable to run with the graphic settings that you have selected. Lower tham, and it will work. |

I read it and lowered graphic settings but it didnt help. |

i cant define a 'bug' exactly, ut whilst playin i noticed on a stage on le tour i just played all the big sprinters started to break away, there were no sprint checkpoints or anything. but they decided to attack 1.0km from the start... ill post the video when it has uploaded! but just wondering if it is a BUG |

Also Liquigas doesnt take part in Vuelta and Basso only rides Giro. |

And HTC still uses Scott. We haven't changed the equipment yet.

As long as it doesn't happen in all stages that you play, I doubt it's DB-related.

We can't decide which races the riders decide to attend.
Concerning the Vuelta, it's still unsure what's going to happen in 2011. Will the World Tour teams automatically be invited to all GTs? We don't know yet, but either way, we're going to change the invitation system for World Tour events. |

This may have been asked before but is there a way to reduce the amount of equipment in the DB to allow for a faster game? Or does the equipment not have much affect on the game speed?
Not that PCM.daily should do this but is there a way that I myself could do this?

Lowered the graphic? U try to told me that PCM 2010 with 2011DB have higher system requirements than CoD Black Ops, Crysis, NFS Hot Pursuit? Lame...all this games working on full details without crashing and without lag, so PCM must go too...I don't have 15 years old PC but new! Intel Core i5 2.26GHz, 4GB RAM, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 with 1024 RAM, and game like PCM is crashed? Wired, and totaly sick! |

When you start the season mode, at the tour down under the game falls into the 3 or 4 stage, I din't know if it is a problem of the DB or my computer, I put it here just in case. |

Tsj: It's definitely a valid concern - removing the equipment does make the game a lot faster, depending on the computer of course. If you have some basic Full Editor knowledge, it's pretty simple to remove the equipment. There's a description here: https://www.pcmdaily.com/forum/viewthr...ost_334655

for those who are experiencing low framerate and/or frequent game crashes due to high ram usage, i've edited the PCMDaily2011 db removing the equipment feature, including editing of national teams equipment, that wasn't mentioned in my previous guide above (DYN_national_team should be edited just like dyn_team).
if CrueTrue agrees, i'll put here the link of the modified db
