Four day stage races can be great points grabbers, Mercedes solely through an amazing individual display from Tolleson, 100% Me through getting three podiums and Pokerstars usual consistent sprinting approach netted them excellent points hauls from this one.
They scored around 200 points each from this race, with Pokerstars I think getting 228 points the 'winners'.
Milka's GC second place with Casper and Bimbo's last stage heriocs, meant the tour was okay netting around 100 points each. Considering the teams they had entered Telenor and Highroad managed to score some reasonable points also somewhere between 50 and 100 points for them.
Lego, Vespa and Petronas had weak races where their sprinters did not get involved, they will not be satisfied with their display. El Al in the meanwhile had just a last stage sprint bonus to thank for a scant GC 15th place for a measily 10 point haul from the Tour of Picardie.
In terms of the overall team rankings, possibly the headlines are that Mercedes are back in the promotion race... I think amazingly (considering they are a new team) we can add Pokerstars to the list of possibles promotion contenders too!!!
This was quite good race for us. Casper achieved finally something this season, 2 podiums and second place overall, that's good.
Quite good race for Nepomnyachshiy too.
If Pokerstars promote they will pretty much have to change the entire squad Kinda funny how nearly everyone else complains about sprinting and Pokerstars is nearly a pure sprinter team (and cobbles)

promotion? you are scaring me seriously, luckily I have NO CHANCE to promote
after slight disappointment in Olympia Tour, I think I have to be satisfied with our performance here...stage win, 3rd overall, some podium places, youth jersey, 2nd in sprinters competition...did I forget on something?
