Marca has reported that Mosquera's B sample was negative.

It's a blatant lie. Even Mosquera has admitted as much.

Yup. And surprisingly enough, I see/hear everywhere people debating whether he's gonna be banned, if hydroxyethyl is a banned substance, etc. Darn, it takes less than a minute to visit WADA website and look at the fragging list. It is a banned substance so he should be gone for two years.

"I had EPO in my fridge"

Shocking news. I have to get the book...

My favourite quote:
"I started taking EPO in 93"

Really Bjarne? We never would've guessed.

Best Tour finish before 93: 107th
Tour finish in 93: 5th

.....

Liberty Seguros have for the past few months been setting up their new team for 2011 and signing several riders.
After all this time, now they've suddenly decided they don't want to have a team because of the doping positives they had last time around. Team's dead in the water.

Wait, what?

Danish media is quoting UCI for saying that a doping case will be opened against Contador.

Can't find any official press release about it, though.

The BBC have also picked up the report, "World governing body calls for disciplinary proceedings to be opened against Alberto Contador" being on their news ticker. (Just to show its not just the Danish media)

About time. I guess they are finally prepared for the unavoidable moment when this goes to the CAS.

For that to happen, the RFEC has to do something....which they'll try their hardest not to.

They have the best commercials ever. The one below is my favorite. Someone in their marketing department has a sense of humor.

So UCI request the Spanish Federation to open a case against Contador. I guess they wont.

"It is now the responsibility of this Federation to determine whether Alberto Contador has breached the UCI Anti-Doping Rules."

Do the Spanish Federation think so? My guess would be no again.

If the RFEC clears AC, wouldn't the UCI or the WADA appeal to the CAS? I want to believe they will. I just couldn't stand that a guy that should have already been banned FOR LIFE, can walk free without any single day of suspension without even cooperating in the slightest with the antidoping authorities.

Well if the RFEC is next, then he'll ride for at least another 2/3 years before he gets banned. Just like Valv.Piti

Danish radio just quoted the head of the Spanish Federation saying something along the lines of: I hope we can clear Alberto. Not just because he a great talent, but also becaus he is an old friend of mine and he is from Madrid.

Wow. Just wow.
