The Mosquera one must be a lot clearer of a catch for them to have made the announcement so soon.
Bye Mister Mouse. |

Actually it's the opposite, because having a rider which wins the Tour nearly every year whith a bad past is not good so it's actually quite positive. |

This is the brightest day for a while !
At least if you are not in Germany
Here every possible doping case in cycling is a step back for cycling in Germany. There are almost no more sponsors left and more and more quite their engagement. |

No matter which way you look at it, it's positive

No! Keep going, no one has gotten really pissed at you for making fun of their favorite rider testing positive yet, and that is the best thing that happens on this forum. |

I meant that even more people will think that the sport is just doping after today. |

I meant that even more people will think that the sport is just doping after today. I know what you mean. But if I have any doubt about something being good or not, I'll just think that good or bad doesn't really matter.
Fair or not matters more, though. And fair riders don't cheat or something like that. So when one is caught, it's good, no matter what bad publicity it brings.
"At least we search, and sometimes we even find" is what I answer people who pick at me for being a cyclist/cycling fan when a rider is caught. |

I don;t know what to say. This is terrible. If it was just Mosquera, I'd be like "well it's hardly a shock", but with Contador as well, this really will rock cycling. Its an incredibly naive stance, but I hope Contador is proved innocent. I know it's naive and I'm most certainly putting my head in the sand, but I hate all this heaped upon my favourite sport. |

I wonder what the fuck the team doctor did. I mean, no one tests positive in Spain, and even less if he's a Spaniard. I guess Xacobeo was really desperate. |

In Mosquera case:
https://www.as.com/ciclismo/articulo/m...scic_8/Tes
Google translation:
The hydroxyethyl, the same substance was found to Oscar Sevilla in the Tour of Colombia, is a diuretic that can be used as masking of other products. Is considered a "specified substance" and the record does not necessarily resolve a suspension, but often just a warning. Of course, the sanctions could affect the awards and the classification of the Tour of Spain, so Mosquera could lose his podium and stage win of the Ball of the World. Due to the smaller range of positive, neither has been provisionally suspended for now
So... Mosquera still signing with Vacans?

Seems like you can't trust anybody in the peloton...
And I thought Mosquera was a honest rider... |
