the kind of finish is "finish_flat" since the stage file use the "finish_flat" tag ... even when it's a (flat) TT 
it's just about the stage relief at the finish line ... not the type of the stage...
but Ok, you're not that wrong. your method at least prevents the case, that you don't get any money, because a final stage use another tag, than the "finish_flat" one  |

Are you sure about the finish? Because there is also a "finish_itt".
The ITT might be finish_flat, but isn`t it also finish_itt, just because it is a ITT.

well, i trust in things i see ...
and when i open the v2_top_tdf_21.cds with the "Open stage data" function of the Stage Editor i see following:
wherefor i don't think, that it's any crap, which is mentioned in the last line of the "Sprint" section in there 
so no, i'm not really sure ... but at least kinda
and yes, the classification file contains also a "finish_itt" entry, which makes sure, that you get your 8000 Euro for a stage win of an ITT stage, which is not the final stage of the Tour de France and use the "finish_itt" tag

Well, yes I went on to a new season. But I know that I had goals for both Tour de France and the Vuelta, had to win Tour de France and finish in top-10 in the Vuelta.
Edit: Might take some time before I will reach Tour de France, since my balance is pretty screwe'd, so I have to participate in alot of races, just to earn enough money not to go down with the flag.

alright, thought so.
noticed something similar already. and that was just the case, when i had goals for the races too. that's why i think it's a game bug (80% chance) or a bug in the career database (20% chance).
btw: i noticed it for PCM09 already ... using nothing else than the normal custom database...

If there's a finish_itt, it may work, yes. I had completely forgotten about that variable
That said, I was confused by the fact that the editor comes up with a "finish_flat" if it's indeed "finish_itt". |

I created lots of stages yet, but haven`t recognized this
In 2009 everything was easier where you had to define it more manually. There I never forgot about the finish. |

I had the same problem as Einsweis about the prize money. For the Etoile de Bessèges, vuelto d'Algarve, Tour of Murcia... I received money for winning stages, but I didn't for my place in the overall classement. I've read this topic and I've tried to change as it was explained, but I failed to do something about it. So I've uploaded the folder about these 1.HC races. If anybody has time, feel free to look to it. Thanks!

I can`t see anything wrong in this file.
So there shouldn`t be a normal classification file problem.
I haven`t exactly understood the real problem LoStaffan explained above, but it was anything with sponsor goals and this races. |

My problem is that I don't receive money for the place I reached in the overall ranking of some races. I still receive money for winning stages and for reaching sponsor goals. |

The classification file you use shouldn`t be the problem. There are all rules for stage money, daily jersey money and overall money for all jerseys.
So there must be something with the game.
Or I overlooked something. |

Hm, I just (almost) finished The Giro, and I had done as CrueTrue said, replaced the file. However, it now crash everytime I try to go to the day of the last Giro stage.. So I guess that doesn't work.
Edit: Tried to replace the files, with the originals, and it still keeps crashing =/
Edit: Can someone upload the top_giro_21.dcs & zces? Seems like I deleted them..
