Well The Race is finally run and it wasnt perfect for SKY but i had fun today
Chavanel of FDJ took home Gold and he takes the leaders jersey from hendersons shoulders plus today was a day for the breakaway riders and that meant sky doing alot of work as other team didnt have too much to worry about!

oh and after the race i snuck up on stefan and heres a lovely mug shot of him hahaha!!

Felt like shit when i woke up this morning!
and theres no reason either i got an early night and was fast asleep but woke up feeling like i have a hangover.
Ive told the boss and he said to take it easy so i miss training until i feel better which is annoying because i really enjoy the training.
So my plan of action today is to chill in the support car and try and feel better.
Whats weird is Geraint isnt feeling to well either but he's commited to carry on ?
Hmm anyway this stage is one for the fighters and to be honest this is my sort of stage

Stage 3 was fairly hilly and was another good win for sky with lofvkist winning by 1''03 and heading the mountain points.
Bad news for me though.
Ive been sent home because i have caught the flu only a mild case but non the less the manager cant risk me infecting the team so ill have to watch the race on TV.
ive left my camera with stefan but he'll probably bin it. hopefully not! I'd like some new pictures!

Sadly not being there means i cant give reports on the races but the boss gave me and the team a final standings email so ill give that a look
i have know idea as of yet who won and i had no contact with the team who were in australia. The only contact i did get was stage 4 when stefan sent me a message telling me the camera was fine and chavanel had fallen but wasnt out of the race! Which was good news because he was 3mins ahead
hope he is ok though!

Well thats a surprise Chavanel despite hiss fall managed to win hmm..
Edvald did well and he managed the Sprinters jersey.

The manager and fitness coaches called me into there office today and sat me down..
mainly to see if i had recovered.
they asked me if i felt better... and if i was to race would i be up for it..
obviously i answered yes and i had recovered and was training double as hard as normal.
then out of the blue despite telling me that i wouldnt race they had asked if id like to participate in the G.P Costa Degli..
To be honest i hadnt heard of that race before but i asked what the profile was like and if it would suit me as a rider.
they showed me this ...
it looked perfect for me.. a couple of hills and relativley flat.. a figthers stage. i was over the moon that they had asked me and told me they had confidence in me to preform.
My role would be Team mate and unofficially ''water boy'' but that didnt bother me one bit. Stefan even said hed take some pictures for me.
i was so excited and from then i trained my ass off as i needed to get fitter. even though the race was only a small one infact one of the smallest and no big names would be there.... i didnt care because id obviously shown the team managers im good enough to at least be racing at 1.1 level!

The Day had come ... i could proudly be part of the best cycling team in the world and wear there colours with pride. The race stature meant nothing it was just that i got the chance to finnaly ride competivley. Stefan came aswell who usually is the pro tour team assistant but me and him got on well.
alot of the team seem to think im mature for my age but in my head im not!
well here we go only 20 mins away now .. heres the team i will be with

Well ... What a day...
I never thought racing would have been as great as it was and I had top hopes for it.
Stefan did me proud by getting this shot of me on the line
Well the race from my perspective was pretty smooth. The pace was easy and relaxed at the beggining and Chris Froome got away early which was great to watch. I did my job as water boy and supported Possini like i was supposed too. I made a few school boy errors and i got a few looks from the other riders but if i could speak italian i would tell them ..''look at me like that all you want but its me riding for the top tour team ''
they soon passed and i put my german too good use and had a conversation with some german riders they were shocked as to how young i was but like i said i didnt bother me!
I didnt expect teams like Katusha and Lampre to be there and at that for the to bring there best sprinters.. Pettachi and Mcewen but non the less i met Mcewen and even acted like a suporter and after the race got his signiture
the race ended with Pettachi easily beating the rest of the field and downing i think finnishing in elevnth or twelth
i lost contact with the group towards the end but manged to get back it was the last 30km that really hurt me and i really did feel it!
i finnished in 83rd which was brilliant and stook with the peleton so im proud i have to se the boss tommorow but its goodnight from me now as my legs are on fire!

ok pascheck this is what i did:
go to your database editor ect ect make a new rider im assuming your making you so when youve done all that click were it says nobody_picture
and a list of all the rider pics come up first youll have to get a picture of you and scale it down and put it in to TGA format
i do this using Paint.net which you can download for free best way i think of scaling down is by gettin one of the pics of a real rider then on paint.net you can copy and paste your pic over the top of the border of the real rider pic then save it and transfer it into the rider pictures folder which is in your main pcm folder and then go back to the rider creation bit and click on nobody_picture and find yours ( make sure you save your picture correct ill use my name for example so nevans first letter followed byr surname then bobs youir uncle ) enjoy!!

Well i had to get up bright and early this morning im talking 4:00am mainly to say goodbye to the riders who were of too qatar as they had a race apparantly cancellara is going as well and i would have loved to meet him but ah well its hard training back in england for me.
at 12:00pm i went to see the boss and had some dinner aswell he said he was proud of me for sticking with it all the way and that i had even out shon some of the veterans. Which really made me feel happy. No word on another race as of yet but that one day yesterday was brilliant! Italy is a beautiful country and when racing i expected it all to zoom by but a got a great look at some beautiful italian vista's.
well i hope the team doe well today in Qatar and ill probably get updated on how they did and the full list of riders who have gone so ill check that at soon. But for me its a 4 hour intensive ride. GREAT!!!

well all i know is that stage 1 is a TTT and we have Wiggins so we should do well today!
