it's funny how on the french forum there is no trace of any complaint.
The French-speaking CyM/PCM community has always acted more childish than the English-speaking one, so don't even think they're more docile or something. They're more important in terms of members, thus they get more moderators, and more visits from Cyanide and Focus staff, and more "management" of topics (= mode deletion of disturbing topics). |

like people have said, Cyanide know you'll buy the game as it's the only cycling game out there.
You either want a cycling game, and so you'll buy PCM, or you don't.
PCM is currently the best cycling game out there. Why? It's the only one.
Get competition and then you'd hope cyanide get off their asses and fix what has to be fixed.

Right, they want competition, they can have competition. All we need is a programmer, then Cyanide are in trouble.
Seriously, If you want it fixing then you have to put enormous presuure on Cyanide.
Starting now, there will be a petition to say that we will never buy anything from Cyanide again if they don't sort this out.
Who'll join me?
EDIT: Oh, and I have a plan.

The picture you posted was funny. It's a pity someone decided it needed to be deleted.
I'm glad the thread is still there though - at first when I read your post I thought it had been all deleted.
If they can't take a joke and delete your account - I don't really care. If they can't fix the AI in another patch, then I'm with you and done with PCM for the forseeable future.
Thread is no longer there, looks like they cleaned house some more. Pretty pathetic on there part, they might be in a niche market but that means less customers so when you piss off the core group and the word spreads, there goes a large chunk of money in the long run. How many gaming companies have went down the tube after pissing off the core customer base...too many too name. |

This is all so fucked up...... seriously, and deleting ruben's account after the work he has done is pathetic.
I'm a 100 % down for this petition thing, we have got to show Cyanide that we are serious this year, and i think we can do something with this if we work together |

Ohh, my account got deleted as well.
Well, if that's how they're treating ppl trying to make their sucky game better, then fine. They won't get my money anymore.
So first we got one of top DBmakers banned, now head-admin of their own official World Champs few years ago. Who's next? Guess it doesn't matter for them. You complain = you're out.

I would say to get the communities together from the main fan sites and set up a day or weekend where the majority of the members will post on cyanides forums with all the issues we all have had with there crap. Get enough people and do it in multiple languages and just bombard there forums. OR something along those lines, or petitions, or what not. Something has to be done to finally make them aware...I myself have always been quiet and have just read others posts here and ppdb, and have purchased everyone of there games since Cym4 and they have just gotten really crappy the last couple of years in regards to fixing issues and dealing with the community.
I am big into manager games and none of the other developers come close to being as horrible as cyanide in their relations and in fixing bugs, especially since Management games tend to have a smaller following.
These include OOTO developments, Grey Dog Software, Wolvering Studios, etc...they all at least always deal fairly with their forums and fan base, and will release patches up until the next version is released. You could add in the developers of Football Manager, but they have a much larger following so really do not count as small compared to these others, but they will patch FM until all major and most minor bugs are gone, and they have had some issues with inital releases of FM, but they get the job done to get it to a stable version. Now Cyanides does have the graphical element to their game, but still, they could spend some extra time making the customers happy, fixing ai, and still work on their next release.... |

A petition seems like a good idea to me, but instead of threats and insults it should contain a serious and thorough argumentation of our complaints. It should also explain that we're a committed community and that we're trying to help in a way that:
a) we're more satisfied with the game
b) Cyanide gets a better product to sell
Both parties happy

i would suggest to write down a polite list of our complaints in both english and french (and any other language, i could translate it ot italian) and add at the end the list of our names.
then spam it massively on their forums |
