Dont think its possible as the young riders are generated by the game itself. Maybe it could be possible to create them as free agents with their age and potential but some of them would be very young.
It's possible by adding the riders to DYN_young_rider. I'm pretty sure that Lampert is aware of this.
You can be sure, that you can scout real life riders. An example:

steges are quite messed up... Giro is with stages from 2010 and other years. In Paris-Nice stege profiles don't correspondent to the stage. In le tour same as in Giro. |

CLICK HER TO DOWNLOAD THE VINTAGE03
1. Extract PcmFreaks-Vintage03-DB.rar so you get to folders: English Version & Danish Version.
2. Open the version you want to play with
3. There are two folders: Pro Cycling Manager 2010 and Pro Cycling Manager - Season 2010
4. Pro Cycling Manager 2010: Move it to My Documents and say YES if it asks you to replace it.
5. Pro Cycling Manager - Season 2010: Move it to Program Files/Cyanide/ and say YES if it asks you to replace it.
6. Empty the cache folder under Application data.
For XP: Go to START -> Run -> type in %appdata% and the ENTER -> Now a pop up window will appear
-> Open the folder named "Pro Cycling Manager 2010." -> Open the Cache folder -> delete all the content.
For Vista/7: Go to START -> type %appdata% in the search field and the ENTER -> Now a pop up window will appear -> Open the folder named "Pro Cycling Manager 2010." -> Open the Cache folder -> delete all the content.
7. Open PCM10 -> Options -> Database and choose the Vintage03 database

I can tell you that Lampert has put many old CyM songs in this DB. Fantastic imo.

Yeh thanks a lot, been looking forward to riding alongside Armstrong at his finest
i have played throught the TDF and pretty realistic results apart from Beloki not crashing out 
Armstrong won Beloki 2nd Ullrich 3rd
Shame the riders dont have their own numbers though

Ok, I have played with the DB almost all day and here is my findings -
The Bad
1) Some Profiles and Stage Types are Messed Up
2) One or Two Race Achievements weren't Deleted, Ex. Rider Name - 2 Wins - Year 2008
3) In My Opinion, Young Riders 17-23 on teams or free agents are way to high rate and should be lower but have greater potential.
4) Past Results for Random Races/Riders. No Going back like 3 years for every event and rider like the 2010 DB's.
Good
1) Scouting Actual Up and Coming Riders - A. Schleck, M. Cavendish, T. Farrar, etc.
2) Overall Stats Are Great
3) Teams with Correct Riders Looks Right
4) Its the Year 2003!
Still Worth Playing if You Ask Me. But To Make a Story or Anything Like That There Needs to be an Update on the Stages and Future Talents Stats. Fun To Play.

Do you know how much work it is to do that? It takes hours on hours to do that. 2010 DBs have so much results because Cyanide has done it for them.

You've also did some weird things withe Ace_decline. For example Gilbert has 20. This means he can't get any better and only will be worser. Also Lövkvist and Breschel have 17 there. |
