It`s just the activation. But according to Cyanide-online some guys from they community are already creating variants. Newest Update was 2 Giro variants and 3 Tour variants.
Will that be a official download or where can you download that? and when will it be ready? |

These variant races by the community are exactly like all other races. Either you have to create the rules and description for the variants by yourself or you wait for a DB that includes some variants.

There are no rules and descriptions because there are no stages yet. There is a tutorial.pdf for variants how to make your own rules and descr.
Otherwise you could have a look in PCM09 variant folder. There are some files, where you can compare. But you can`t take these because you don`t have the 09 stages.
It`s like
Rules describe what Variant descr. will be choosen for what year.
Descr. links to the right stages.

I don`t know. Maybe PCM Daily or Plakker will add variants in a later version. Who knows 
At first some variants must be created.

No the stage's are a completely different file type.

But the upside is that the community can create the TDF they really want. A little more uphill finishes on the mountain stages and so on.

Some of you guys moan and moan that the variants function isnt in the game, then cyanide add it, and you instead moan thats theres no actual stages made to use as variants.
Why not spend less time complaining, and more time making some stages yourself?

Its simple but time consuming - but if youre too arrogant to believe you should be fed everything on a plate and make no effort yourself, then you dont deserve a thing.
Some of you are just to ignorant to see with stages, that it is a short term loss for a long term gain.
