I guess it's the first ever win for Milka!
I have to say it was a fantastic perfomance from all my team, especially from Hushovd and Casper. 40 seconds isn't big gap, but I think Thor will need some extra seconds to beat Blythe in the final time trial.

Congrats Roman, Hushovd could still win this with a bit of luck tomorrow!
Guess Hoste the big loser of the day there, with Hushovd and Vantomme the biggest beneficeries! Definately an interesting stage there. |

Atleast we managed to get both old Bäckstedt and Van Hummel on top 10. Hope for Van Hummel on the next stage. |

Bravo Blythe! Doing exactly what he needed to do, a GC victory now becomes a greater possibility

And Stage 3 was a good one for the break to win - its going to be a tense time trial i suspect

Congratulations, beagle!
3rd stage was another great perfomance for my team, escpecially great lead-out from Stybar was more than half of Hushovd's 3rd place.
32 seconds. I think we'll see really exciting battle in the final time trial.

I really hope that Hoste wins the TT. After such a bad effort on stage 2...

Dont get your hopes up too much, I have Stannard here - and without Ignatiev or Dempster here, Stannard has got to be a very strong favourite for the time trial

Exactly. Plus, there are another better or at least equal time trialists like De Gendt, Hushovd, Kluge and Ghyselinck. Behind them should be in my predictions Hoste.

thanks for congrats
I´m really looking forward to last stage...think Hushovd can beat Blythe by more than 32" as well Kluge is much better time trialist than current 4th overall Vantomme (maybe even Van Impe could jump over him??)...looks like only certainty is 3rd place for Hoste

Stage wins and high volume of GC placings are indicating a really good tour for Pokerstars and Milka.
For Highroad, Bbox and Intesa it feels like a case of what might of been. For Bacardi and Falcon its a case of what the hell are we doing here! I suppose Falcon do have some outside chance of getting something from the TT and Bacardi have got some reasonable GC points to look forward to.
Lots of good battles ahead in the TT, Hushovd vs Blythe and the battle for 4th as well as Stannard vs the world for the stage win. Mind you Stannard did not win the Wellington TT by that much - don't think the TT's favour early starters. |

Wind dependent really - at times it has been known to particularly favour the early starters.

Crappy TT for me then. I guess wind or daily form is to blame for Stannard, while it was just too long a stage for Blythe

Roger Kluge collects another fantastic win for my team!!!
awesome race - 2 stage wins, polka dot jersey, best team, 4th and 6th overall, I´m happy
on the other hand I think SN is the most disappointed manager today...

Hmmm, 8th in the GC by Kruopis and 17th by Bagdonas. Not bad at all. Kuchinski did disappoint, probably because the first stage was slightly hilly.

That was close! Good ride by De Gendt and Hushovd.
This race was absolutely fantastic for me - overall win, stage win, points jersey, one 2nd place and three 3rd places. And especially, I'm happy that I realize sucessfully my first goal of the season - overall win here.
SN isn't probably the most happiest manager today, I can't believe that Stannard lost this stage. In addition, Blythe lost the race today. Crappy stage for him, how he said.
And finally - congrats to another Czech in Man-Game, beagle for the stage win.

Would have won this if Hoste didn't mess up! Damn! Well, at least I managed the goal...
