Is there any way to move the camera without using the middle mouse key? I dont gave a mouse, only the "pad" since I'm using a laptop. |

I know its late but just wanna thank you for making this tutorial. I can now make simple stages. Your tutorial is very descriptive and easy to follow. I had doubts I would be able to help the community and make stages but now it may be possible. (I'd especially like to make Canadian races). |

Well, large parts of both Canada and Norway are not possible to make due to missing .dem files. |

Is it possible to find a dem file of say where I live in Canada just by googling it and then placing it in the dem folder. Or does it have to be made by Cyanide to work? Wondering cause it seems in other threads that people have gotten their own dem files from looking on the internet.
And is there a way to check which areas of the world are ok for creating stages with, perhaps in the editor? |

.dem is a normal format, but I'm still yet to see any .dem-file from the internet work in the game.
You can check simply by trying to load the .gpx file. If it comes up with an error message, the area is not supported |

when I get round to it. I might try doing some of it this afternoon.
Got track league team draws to organise too, which is going well (if you track leaguers are reading this )

save the route as gpx. Then create a new stage with the editor and click "make stage out of gpx/kml" ore something like this. |

After you complete the route go to "summary" on the topleft side. Then you should see course details and under that download. Choose download "gpx" et voila. Then in stage editor select new - read bounds from GPX/KML file and choose your previously downloaded gpx-file. Then go to topview, select the paint icon and load GPX/KML file again and open your gpx-file. If done correct the route should show up on your topview. |
