So is this what we're going to talk about during the Vuelta? How many times Merckx won a GT stage?
Move on, please. |

Wiggins will definately not compete, as he is ending his season early, and will only participate in The Tour of Britain in september.

"Don't even suggest Plymouth is an easy game. Look at it this way. There's a greyhound going through a field and he sees a rabbit. The rabbit starts running. The greyhound fancies a bit of snap but the rabbit fancies his life. Who runs the hardest? The rabbit, absolutely. That's been my view on life." "Mick McCarthy"

And Kreuziger will be there also for sure, but i am not sure if he can battle for something better than top20, he will probably try to win a stage or help Nibali if he will start.
Go Roman!

I see the first post has been edited. If Stage 15 were the final stage... Now that would be crazy. |

Definately not Gesink. He rides the Pro Tour races in Canada. And doesn't ride any race in August (only criteriums).
As for the sprinters, Theo Bos is participating. |

Sounds like Lövqvist, Gustav Larsson and Fredrik Kessiakoff is going to the Vuelta. Kessiakoff was the planned Giro captain but his form this year has been poor. But maybe he has found his form. |

Looking forward to see Kessiakoff. Any idea whether he'll be Garmin's GC-leader? |
