Fantastic work with the report there, how do you have the results like that? Have you done them yourself or are they from the database?

Thanks.
To make the result look like that you have to use the 'table button' which is placed between the youtube one and the spoiler button. Choose 100% width and then paste the exported results directly from excel between the 2 table brackets, just like when adding an image.

The breakaway won the first stage so the sprinters clearly want the win in this second stage. But it will be rather hard for their teams to control the race as today's also route seems to also favor attackers
Again there was a big group in front of the race that got away in the early kilometers. Coyot was there and thanks to the intermediate sprints he took the points jersey, but neither of the escapes threatened Izagirre's KoM jersey
The escapes weren't as lucky as yesterday though and they were all eventually caught before the last 20 kilometers of the stage were reached
With just 1 kilometer before the top of the last climb, Martens attacked from the pack. Cardoso, Geslin and Lorenzetto quickly followed him and they reached the summit with an advantage of 30 seconds
Inside the last 10 kilometers, Grivko and Bertolini joined Geslin and Martens, while Cardoso and Lorenzetto were getting away in a crucial move for the stage win
With the final kilometer approaching it was clear that it will be beaten Lorenzetto and Cardoso for the stage win, with the chasers more than 40 seconds behind them
Cardoso took the wheel the Lorenzetto for the final sprint and made his move at the right moment to give Footon an amazing first win of the season
Behind, Martens, Grivko, Geslin and Bertolini were caught by the pack inside the last kilometer which means that only Cardoso and Lorenzetto got a time gap today.
And with 34 seconds won, the Portuguese rider is enjoying a comfortable lead after 2 stages that fooled the sprinters in Down Under.

Nice to hear that. When writing a story you have to try to keep it entertaining for both you and the readers.

On paper the third stage in Down Under also should be for the sprints but again with an well timed attack a mass sprint could easily be avoided
Kai Reus took part in the day's breakaway and at the top of the last climb he got away from the other escapes and tried his luck on his own
But with only 30 seconds in front of the pack on the downhill it was very hard for him to stay in front and he was eventually caught inside the last 10 kilometers
The last climbs proved to be quite hard for some sprinters and while Brown was dropped off from the pack the other teams weren't too lucky either.
With less than 5 kilometers to go the only team that tried to make train was Sky for Boasson Hagen but they failed to gain any advantage on their opponents
At the one kilometer banner, Geslin was leading the pack with McEwen and Cavendish right behind him, both being better sprinters than him
But quite surprisingly neither of them was able to beat the Frenchman, who gets an amazing stage win
Stage
1. | Anthony Geslin | Française des Jeux | 3h46'33 | 2. | Robbie McEwen | Team Katusha | s.t. | 3. | Mark Cavendish | Team HTC - Columbia | s.t. | 4. | Tom Boonen | Quick·Step | s.t. | 5. | Edvald Boasson Hagen | Sky Professional Cycling Team | s.t. | 6. | Baden Cooke | Team Saxo Bank | s.t. | 7. | Mirco Lorenzetto | Lampre - Farnese Vini | s.t. | 8. | Manuel Cardoso | Footon - Servetto | s.t. | 9. | Sébastien Rosseler | Team RadioShack | s.t. | 10. | Xavier Florencio | Cervélo Test Team | s.t. | 11. | Francesco Ginanni | Androni Giocattoli - Serramenti PVC Diquigiovanni | s.t. | 12. | Daniele Bennati | Liquigas - Doimo | s.t. | 13. | Russell Downing | Sky Professional Cycling Team | s.t. | 14. | José Iván Gutiérrez | Caisse d'Epargne | s.t. | 15. | Ryder Hesjedal | Garmin - Transitions | s.t. |

It will be pretty hard to get a stage win with the bad early form of the riders

Anyway, it's a very interesting TDU so far. How on earth did Geslin win that sprint?! |

The sprinters weren't in the front positions in the final kilometers. At the last k, Geslin jumped from behind bringing McEwen and Cavendish in his slipstream. But the other 2 just followed him and didn't try to go for the stage win.

Hope to see you soon with a '10 story, Guido
I have a feeling that this time will work better. I'm playing the stages without 'forcing' the graphics options with great speed and no crashes. At the end I save the replay, then I load the replays using high graphics and I take the screenshots. Works like a charm.

That is extremely clever. I had never even thought of doing something like that but maybe I will try it out if I start a story, again inspired by your stories.
Also ditto to what Guido said about long life to the story. |

Problem is that I don't know if this works with the older versions of the game. I think I tried it in PCM09 as well and it didn't work for what I remember.
But if it's for '10 then it's good cause it saves you from a lot of random crashes.
