This is now an official patch, not a beta 
EDIT: but if you install it, it still tries to install patch 1.0.1.8 when you open the game

Yes, it was.
Whether it's the last patch? While I said it was likely a few days ago, I think that there's one more coming.
That said, the PCM.daily DB will be released for this one. |

because someone said that it was imposible to change stages from year to year.

Im not sure since I´m not french, but reading trough a topic on Cyanides own forum bye using google translator, I get the feeling that there wont be any variants this year. I´m really not sure, google translator isn´t good enough to fully understand the text. What i think I read was, that some guy from Cyanide was trying to make an unofficial project with the goal to make variant stages possible, but he didn´t succed. This guy allso mentioned that the possibility to make variants wont be added in a patch. if i understood it right, there wont be any possiblility to add variant stages in this years PCM, but again I´m not french, and since most of the important information on Cyanides own forum is for frenchmen only it would be nice with a translation.

if that is true, pcm10 dropped from a amazing game to the worst in pcm history, omfg ! play with the same tdf up to 5-6 years

He's saying that he did a test, it went alright (a little bugged) and that he - for now - will work on other things.
That does not mean that he won't keep working on the project sooner or later. |
