Santos Tour Down Under
Stage 5
Race:
A break of 3'25'' got away that included four riders
The break extended it's lead as D'Hollander took the points in the mountains.
The peleton increased it's speed and with about 40km to go the break was caught and with that trigged an attack from Juan Antonio Flecha
With 15km to go it looked like he could be struggling to hold on to his lead, but he carried on battling....
Devolder of Quickstep joined him at the front and together they lead by 1'00''
Kroon also joined the gang....
The peleton were so close and Flecha decided not to hang around any longer as he blasted of the front for the line.
Once again Devolder followed but it wasn't enough, the win goes to Team Sky's Juan Antonio Flecha.
With that he takes 3 jerseys!
Stage: Sorry for being a bit dark, bad timing

Santos Tour Down Under
Stage 6
Race:
As usual it was a fine fine day down under.
A break got away, it started to strung out but eventually came together as one with one group chasing. The front of 5 included Arvesen of Team Sky
Arvesen then broke off the front to take both of the mountain points
The break was caught with 45km to go
The pack was now one with 8km all teams were ready to sprint
Pozzato and Boonen looked dangerous lerking at the front of the pack
It was very tite with less than a km to go, but McEwen who stuck his finger out to take the victory
So the overall victory goes to Juan Antonio Flecha, a very good start to the season. Williams finished in a respectable 16th overall

Vuelta a Mallorca
Over the 5 stages I will be attempting to get the GC jersey for Williams and set up Russell Downing the sprint. I have also got the Tour of Qatar going on at the same time, the only difference is that the Tour of Qatar 6 stages and the Vuelta a Mallorca is obviously 5.
Seeing as there is no mountains in the Tour of Qatar, I think I will be concentrating on Greg Henderson and trying to get him some well earned sprint victories.
Going to try a slightly different style in my reports. It's going to be as if I'm commentating on it.... You'll see what I mean for Vuelta a Mallorca stage 1 coming up in the next post.
Team:
Dylan Williams - Leader
Russell Downing - Sprinter
Kurt Asle Arvesen
Michael Barry
Kjell Carlstrom
Chris Froome
Thomas Lofkvist
Serge Pauwels

Vuelta a Mallorca
Stage 1
Report: It crashed in the race replay meaning no pictures, sorry
"It's a fair day here in Majorca for what should be a great day's racing, with riders like Cavendish and Hushovd to back up my point. Team Sky is lead by British road champion. Dylan Williams who will be aiming to take the GC here, they are missing big sprinters such as Henderson and Boasson Hagen so Russell Downing the Brit will take that role today"
"There is now a break away of 5 riders, can they hold on? We'll just have to wait and see"
"The breakaway is going to be caught with around 20km to go, HTC are pushing to front along with Lampre and Astana. Will see a bit of Cav in the sprint today? The excitement is too much for me"
"What's this? Downing is Down! Russell Downing of Team Sky is down that is a disaster for them, they looked as if they may of had a chance but all of those plans are out the window. It wasn't just Downing who fell, it was also Katusha and Radioshack riders I can't put a name to them, sorry about that"
"As we come into the last the corner Cavendish and Hushovd are now where to be seen, it's Farrar at the front along with McEwen. 3km to go here comes Mark to the right of the road is it too late? I think it is. Grega Bole now pushes is he going to take it? Yes he is"
"What a surprise, we really didn't expect that, but well done to Lampre they worked that very nicely and Grega Bole who takes the victory. Good on him.
"Kurt Asle Arvesen finished in 14th position, not a bad result for him, but a poor one for Sky. Could have been different on another day"
Sprinters Jersey: Grega Bole

Tour of Qatar
Stage 1
Disappointment there was really expecting a higher finish, but it shows my inexperience in TTT. Something I need to improve on.

How do you get rid of the bars on the left hand side in race? I'd prefer to take pictures while I'm doing the race itself.
