Concerning the Daily DB and already started careers: You may not benefit from all changes if you continue using databases and careers based on a previous patch. |

when i saw it right, there is some option to implement the patch into your saved career database. might be in the screen for loading save games...
Edit: jap, there is some button to synchronise your career database with version 1.0.2.0

Yes, but as far as I've been told (by Cyanide when I was asked to translate the new feature to Danish), it's only compatible with DBs with no "extras", e.g. stages. So it can only be used by those who have started their careers with either the official DB or the "official" Real Name DB.

hmm, i synchronized my "old" database and at least i just got my validation mail, that my team will participate in the first of those new canadian pro tour races (which i just got because of your expansion pack) ...
dunno, what they changed excatly with that patch ... but for the moment i have the feeling, that i will be able to play my old save game not in a worse way than before the patch

I didn't synchronize and so far I seem to be able to play on normally. The quick simulation order resetting has been fixed and I just noticed that the 1st Motor Camera now works correctly, it followed. Before it was always trying to film the head of the peloton but from way too far. Now it's following the escapees. |

did some comparison of the databases few minutes ago and synchronise your database means, that the sta_stages table into your database gets changed in some points.
so some of these stage features you got while using the expansion pack gonna get resetted (the championship stuff in special) but new races like the canadian ones seem to be still available + they seem to have changed some stage parameters, which were not affected by the expansion pack too.
so not that big problem to make your old database fit for patch 1.0.2.0 AND the features of the expansion pack  |
