But why do they get PT points? What is it good for, and i wonder too: is it the Continental rankings or the Superprestige that counts for promoting/delegating?

As a Continental team, what determines if I get to ride TdF? It's on my goals list but I'm not invited, I have asked for a wildcard.
Late february my team is on top of the contineltal team table. |

The Superprestige ranking and nationality of the team are what matter the most. |

It´s the continetal ranking that determins who is promoted. The two best on the continental ranking is promoted to the pro tour while the two worst pro tour teams are relegated. the superprestige is what they in real life call CQ ranking, and it´s an overall ranking counting both the pro tour races and the continetal.
This is why you´l never see Cervelo and BMC being promoted in PCM because they do not participate in many HC and the other lower class races. So they will stay as a continental team. If it was the superprestigue they probably would be promoted. |

I just finished a season in my career with my custom team and I was not promoted and I did finish first in the continental ranking. However I had not participated in protour races so I didn't have points there, meaning I wasn't at the top in CQ ranking either. Bbox and Vacansoleil got promoted and they were 3rd and 5th in continental ranking. |

Does that mean more than 2 teams can get promoted?
Also is CTT relegation based on CTT placing or superprestige?

I try again.
How many racedays can a rider handle each season?
Saw in the manual you can completely destroy a good young talent if you race him too often.
Permanent drop in the talent stat (1-8)
But I don't want to burn out my main riders either.
