First of all thx for the db, i mostly focused in Xacobeo as im a fan. I like it very much (much better than in the official db)
I could say though that Marcos GarcÃa could have a little more in hills, as he finished 2nd in 2 hilly races this year.
Veloso can have a litte more in tt as he finished 4th in the spanish champs after a puncture.
And to finish Pacheco is a little bit overskilled in sprints as he doesnt had any good resoults this year.
I like the fighter stats, as they showed in La Vuelta last year, thats a good point

I think Bookwalter is much better to TT and Proogue. In the game he's only about 68 |

I'm a big fan of the stats in this game,
but some I have a little problem with :
At most Inxtausti 77 montain ?
and after watching today's cobble stage : some stats have to be revised also (but there's no fault in that for you guys off course ;-))
On the other hand, keep up the good work |

Bookwalter deserves 75-76 at TT. But what do you say about Cadel Evans? He's worth a 64 cobbles attribute? |

You can`t really count todays stage.
1. There was just a bit cobbles.
2. More important. Nobody knows what would happen if F.Schleck hadn`t crashed. Probably most of the favourites were together in 1 group.

Cadel Evans used to be one of the best mountain bike riders, is great technically and was won the cobble/mud-stage in the Giro. Of course he is the best of the TdF favourites at cobblestones.

Too bad others couldn't suck. He was even helping that group, in case you didn't see the stage.

Great job being in the right position by him but what maybe 30 seconds on the front. ANd Versus cut to commericals like 50 times so I probably saw about a hour of actual racing.

Ok, so the idea is I think he deserves a little better cobble stat. Maybe a value around 69-72. I'm not saying 80 or 82. In PCM09 he has 63 at cobbles. The same for PCM10 original db or PCM10 pcmdaily db?

When he was with the group of 5-6 riders they rode 7km's aprrox of cobbles. Not that much.

Given Evan's mountain biking background, i find it hard to believe he isn't above average on the cobbles. That being said, he doesn't do many (if any) cobbled races in real life, so by giving him a high cobble rating, don't we risk the AI inserting him into the cobbled classics and performing fairly well? |

I also think that Anders Lund from Saxo Bank is very bad. He've only 56 i mou. but in Dauphiné 2010 He was the best of Saxo Bank (He ended top 48 i Dauphiné)
EDIT: But on the mou. stage, he follow the best riders until top 20-30

As a dane, I have a few comments to some of the riders in this otherwise great database, which I hope you will find fair and balanced.
I believe Anders Lund should have higher stats especially his climbing and flat stats considering his great performance lately starting in the giro, where he placed 25th at the queen stage. He then continued in the Dauphine where he got 16th at the Alpe d’Huez stage. He continued in the Tour of Slovenia where he got 6th at the mountain stage and overall. I also wonder how he only got 60 in flat as i believe he is much better than that. I think he desverves 67/68 in flat and 71 climbing and 73 hill and potenial 5. He’s got a fine sprint but maybe 70 is a point or two too much and could in turn be decreased.
I think Breschel is a tad overrated in his sprint and TT, as I don’t think he’s the second fastest sprinter at Saxo Bank. Furthermore I think his TT is his main weakness and therefore should be decreased a bit.
Kasper Klostergaard doesn’t get many results for himself as he’s always used as a domestique, however I think his hill stat is too low. He’s certainly no climber, so his climbing stat is fine but he has previously placed in the top 20 overall at Tour de Wallonie and 4 Jours de Dunkerque, so his hill-stat could be raised to 64-65. His potential could be raised to 4 as well.
Alex Rasmussen’s only got about 25 race days this season due to his focus on the track yet he’s still got 4 wins and 3 podium places. He is definitely the second fastest sprinter at Saxo Bank, which should be reflected in his sprint stat. I also think his sprint should be higher than his acceleration as he is more of a Hushovd kind of sprinter than a Cavendish. His TT-stats are fine but I think his overall stats are too low as I don’t think it will be possible in the game to get him to the sprint in any stageraces except perhaps for Qatar. His potential should as well be raised to 5.
I think it’s a bit harsh to give Michael Mørkøv 2 in potential. In the original DB he’s got 5 in potential, which I think is a bit to generous as I would give him 4, and then maybe give him higher TT-stats as he has gained 19th in Giro opening TT and 3rd at the danish national championships beating Lars Bak and Brian Vandborg, which I in turn think probably have to high TT-stats.
In the game Andre Steensen is described as a TT’er. Although he’s got a decent TT, he is much more of a climber, although he hasn’t had his breakthrough yet. I guess he should have lowered his TT-stat a bit and then increase his climbing a bit, så he won’t develop into a TT’er.
I think Alexandre Geniez is way underrated in terms of his stats as I think he is probably one of the biggest talent of the Pro Continental teams. He climbed to 7th at the Mount Faron in the Tour Mediterreanen, gained 14th overall at Tour du Trentin, 7th overall at Tour of Luxembourg and 2nd overall at the Route Du Sud.
Michael Matthews has dominated the U23 ranks this year at a very young age. I think he should be considered a great talent with at least a potential of 6 and a raise in primarily his sprint stats.
