Many years ago in High School I was an avid Pen and Paper FRPG gamer, AD&D, MERP,ROLEMASTER etc.
One of the Characters I gained the most enjoyment from was Vergadain "The Mighty" He retired when the DM's Cat urinated on his Character sheet . |

I lived in Scarborough from 93 to 96 and my friends there called me samtheman, so thats where my nicknames from. My real name is Samuel Ziegler and I now live in Esslingen by Stuttgart. I love almost all sports except curling and ameican football (Thats not sport!) and I especially like football (VfB Stuttgart!!) and cycling, aswell as cricket (Kenya) and rugby (Kenya again).
I lived in Kenya for some time (98 to 03) if that explains anything |

As I realize now that Shifty has a connotation of being "devious or conniving" I thought this would be a good place to explain why I chose the name.
It used to be I would play many video games with friends and all of them had a set name that they would use every time and I would always spend an hour or so on every new game trying to think of something that I liked but never to any success.
I first heard the name "Shifty" in Band of Brothers (Awesome HBO series for those that haven't seen it, I watch it at least once a year in full) and I liked it so it became my designated name for more things that required a screen name of sorts.
Anecdote of the day.

ha, looks like I never posted in here, well, if you were smart enough not to see the X-Men: Origins - Wolverine movie, then heres a tidbit. Deadpool is a product of Weapon X, he's an anti-hero assassin who works just as often for the bad guys as for the good ones. He is also batshit insane and curses like crazy, and also he has guns, and grenades, and swords, and a teleportation device, and the same healing power that Wolverine has. Here are some good pics to familiarize yourself with him:

Whenever I see your name, I think of the band of the same name. They had one hit, Slide Along Side. Just listened to it, and it's not nearly as good as I remembered it |

I really racked my brains for a good name and then chose my initials, followed by my date of birth

The normal one, just not everyone (almost all other than americans) puts months before days, so he's born 26th of december

Mine is a stupid nickname that I had when me and my friends were Counter Strike addicts. Now I can't remember its origin, hehe. Now I usually use "Cogombre", which means cucumber in catalan. That's just because a joke a friend and me used to do in high school, and now has become my 2nd name |
