Just a question, my anti-aliasing doesn't want to stay on 8. I put it on 8, then a pop-up says, anti-aliasing won't work unless that or that is enabled. I enable those 2 things, and then anti-aliasing goes back to 0 <.<. My guess is, something went wrong with transelating into Dutch, and they actually meant that it will only work if those 2 features are disabled.
Those 2 features should indeed be disabled for Anti-aliasing too work. |

I just ignore the game settings, if you have a Radeon you can set Anti-aliasing on ignoring the game settings.

It won't work Ruben. Anti-aliasing and DOF/Blur are mutually exclusive. It's simply not possible to have both. It's like a piece of wood being on fire and not on fire at once.

It is possible Isso,
ATI Catalyst Control Centre
-> 3d settings
-> set Anti-aliasing and anistropic filtering yourself
The anti-aliasing in game is at 0 yeah, but the catalyst control centre overrides that. Only when you have it on 'application managed' you have to set it in game
So Isso, you are wrong about this.
In game you can't have both, but via Catalyst control centre, you can.
Am I clear enough or do you need screens of me to show you how it's done? |

Yea, have played a bit on highest settings now, and, indeed, no problems.

You're still not getting anti-aliasing with that. You're getting motion blur, but your card isn't running the anti-aliasing smoothing process.
Read something and learn about the accumulation buffer and smoothing techniques.
Blur/DOF and AA are sides of the same coin. You either do one or the other, because they are variations of the same process. Doing all at once is not possible, although the Blur process itself already does a small amount of smoothing.
