Added stage 15+16, first hard Alpe Stages. Next one will be Alpe d`Huez as the last very hard stage. |

But now the worst stage will come 3 HC mountains, So it will last very long to make the long climbs and descents into the yellow slopes on 90% of the stage. So probably not finished today. Maybe I start with the 2 flat/hilly stages and the TT before the mountain stage. But I am quite sure it will be finished this week. It has to be finished because I am not home next week

i know very well what you're talking about. I've got 5 stages left too for my Giro variant and exactly 3 mountain stages and 2 flat/hilly. i hope to finish this week too. |

Not all yellow, but normal mountains are on most parts under 10% and yellow is up to 10%.
There are a very few red slopes in my stages but just up to 12-13%, never more, except they are higher in real.
I go to the top of the mountain and then I choose every waypoint to the ground and compare the height on the right window with the point before. So I change almost every waypoint in 3D-Mode after adding them in the TopView Window.
Then the same on the descent.
So you definitely avoid up and downs during the climb, because you have compared every neighboring waypoint.

It's great!
I hope the Champs Elysees laps better!
I mean they are not two roads side by side!
But the real round they ride!
Is this possible? |

Maybe I try the Champs Elysees. But normally I wanted to take Cyanide`s version of this stage. I don`t really think that I would make it better. |

Only miya has ever managed it in the past - it is not something you can do in the stage editor itself.

Indeed. That`s why I didn`t plan this
Probably I have a look now and realise very fast that there is nothing I can do. Especially because I have just the next few days for finishing the Tour. |

It`s going to be finished quite soon I hope. Just worked on the 3HC Alpe d`Huez stage, finished the first HC on both sides into <12%, and then the editor crashed. So I have to do this again ;(
Stage 18 is finished, now I`ll do 19+20 first |

really hate it when it crashes while you're working, make me want to "crash" something too myself |

Save often, than you don't crash yourself that much.

I will in future. Normally I save after every mountain. So there were about 20 more waypoints to the ground I was nearly there. |

Added 17+18. God I hate the 17th stage I am not totally happy with the result. There are 2-3 short parts with up to 16%, everything else <13%, Alpe d`Huez I had the chance to make all turns and have a bit ugly walls or let some away with nicer walls.
I decided that the turns must be there so some walls are a bit weird.
Full TDF will be published tomorrow. I am quite sure. |

TDF 2008 is finished and uploaded right now
Stages in CM_Stages, .descr. into CM_Stages/variants
Then you have to add the "3" into your rules, otherwise it will still change between 1 and 2. (in PCM Daily DB)
There might be mistakes on it, please post and I try to fix it. I know there is a little graphic mistake on Alpe d`Huez, where there are 5m driving on a flying road, but it would have took a longer time to repair this without having too high slopes. So I will work on this later, but not the next 10 days |
