I don't like people who quote pictures but still I will update my season planner so that it can be used with PCM2010. I'm just so lazy so I waited for that last moment to do it. Now some german shops caugth me flat-footed (or flat-tyred) |

Hey sorry about the pictures, I didn´t think about it, I´m a pretty nice guy though, just didn´t knew the unwritten rule, that you don´t quote pictures, you learn every day. And it was not my intention to call anyone lazy, my question was more to the german people who has the game, I thought that they maybe had tried your season planner 09 with 2010, I do not know much about such things, so I thought that maybe it would be compatible allready. I have no intention to anoy other people, especially not the ones that are doing a great job for the game. |

No offence taken, I called myself lazy because I am. You did not anoy me.
I guess the season planer would run fine but the new stat would be missing. I will have a look soon. |

Well Guys,
The game is out and running. Cost me 45€ in Holland.
First impression?
It's very much the same as 09 but the graphics are great.
The Career planner is the same as last season.
In gameplay i had a quick run and that also felt quite the same as the 09 season. ( speaking for sprinting)
There will more reviews soon i guess. but first impression is minor differences except the graphics.

yes is changed i managed to win stage 6 of giro after a break with sagan all of them where back in the gc 5-6 minutes so the peleton was lenient and let the break win the stage 1 min + advance so it was no close win..
Plus in the mountains the attacks are much shorter like in real life making the stages more fun .
the favourites stay toghether in the mountains like in real life the ai is way better then in 09

After some more races i agree that break aways have a bigger chance of winning a stage than in '09.
I think sprints are more easy than in '09 but this can be due to running a career and the other sprinters not having good Form yet.
There is a new simulation mode that is a bit more precise. |

After just a few stages so far I'm very pleased with the increased break away success. Stage 1 of Australia I managed to pick the right break (probably about the fourth group of riders who had a go to escape within the first 25km or so) with Grabsch and the seven riders stayed away until the end. They worked pretty well together until Grivko attacked with 10km to go and took 35 seconds out of Grabsch in second and then the peloton just behind him.
Then in the second stage it turned out to be Grabsch who was in the right place at the right time again so I sent him to chase eight guys who had a 30 second lead - I just had a feeling that it was the day's break, and it was. The group fell to three riders over a couple of the climbs and then they were caught up the last small climb about 15km from the end. Seemed about right though, and it did mean that I could stretch Martin's legs at the front to wind out the peloton for the sprint which Goss won.
Also, graphically is strangely beautiful. I set it to a brighter, glarier setting which makes it look more beautiful and less harsh. I tried the motion effect but it looked like how I'd imagine the world will look when I'm old, with cataracts and having a migraine.
Sky have the money but the other Brits kept the passion.
