Oh well.
Being in yellow was fun whilst it lasted (1 day), and the Carmeuse squad shows once again how useless it is by failing to chase properly

Go Deignan!
Probably means the mountain stage will now be a disaster for CdC with Gomez Marchante and Duarte pacing him up the climb. |

not bad for Pluchkin, he should be the favourite now unless Schleck has a field day in the next stage.

Of course it is. Your jerseys always give the best of luck. Go check out the two races after you made the Pearl Jam jersey and see what happened

And there go any chances I had of Weening getting a Top-10.
All because of a stupid move by the AI.

Didn't look as if they waited for him.
What the hell they were doing on that stage, I've no idea... |

Duarte was relaying in the pack before the final climb so I guess he was too tired on the climb and Marchante attacked just too late

Medvedev did surprisingly well.
But despite the first win of the season, that is an absolute shit stage.
Alex, what on earth was Schleck doing?

Don't know really. Except for Sella, pretty much all of the favorites attacked late but Schleck didn't follow them. He just sit in the pack and did nothing

I guess Medvedev is good consolation, but its a disastrous waste of 8 race days for Schleck, pretty much killing off any hopes I might have had of holding a seriously challenge in the rankings.

Great performance by Rodriguez Oliver.
My team is being quite anonymous in pretty much all races, but still somehow securing some good secondary positions - I can't complain about that. |

*Curses himself for selling Medvedev to SN*
Anywaaaaay. Sweet riding by Ă–ste-Macdonald and Marzano 7th in the GC is decent.

Ardila sucks this season...
Last year I got 6th here and won the Tirreno. This season I should be lucky to get top 15 in both :-S

Surprised but pleased that Gomez Marchante did so well on a hilly stage. |
