Is this really serious? Or like those names from the 08 Giro which never got to be public? |

Straight from the UCI's mouth: the names are to be disclosed officially today or tomorrow

And probably you are right. Spilaks 2nd place was quite surprising.
He's also been suspended before, so.....yeah.

So that big name Italian is one of these:
nocentini
pellizotti
bennati
nibali
sabatini
vanotti
ballan
bandiera
bruseghin
furlan
righi
santamgrogio
tosatto
napolitano
pozzato
They all rode last years Tour. So take a wild stab. Though, if they're aiming for success in the Giro, you'd have to look at:
Pellzotti, Ballan, Bruseghin, Napolitano, or Pozzato.
Most likely? Ballan. Surely?

Ok, it's just that the only place I saw any mention about it was in cyclingnews, and, well, I do prefer better sources than CN. This said, the Spanish sites generally suck when it comes to informing about doping cases.
And when have Spilak been suspended? I don't remember it, and he's pretty young. Was it before he became a pro? |

2005 Worlds in Madrid. His blood values "conveniently" jumped up a ton just before the race. He was sidelined for a few weeks under the 50% rules.

And now Szmyd casually mentions there will be last minute changes to the Liquigas Giro squad...

Maybe he's been taken off in anticipation that he will be suspended.

Also, one of the two italians, that could be named, has no plans of racing the Giro. |

Pelizotti it seems, Nibali to take his place
https://www.gazzet...2873.shtml
Maybe Cunego was right after all about last years giro... "I lost, but I already know that the classification will be rewritten after the fact."
Shame this wont affect the Giro results... i was looking forward to see Basso on the podium

It's just if these doping results were from the 09 Tour who else is there. Maybe one other rider. Oh yeah Velits, (unless he's slovakian). Sorry but it doesn't look good.

I hope not Mosquera. But weren't these doping results from the 09 tour?

Only Pellizotti was from the Tour last year. The others could be from any race.
And The Velits twins are slovakian.

Well it looks like I have to say something about Franco since it seems he's the doped one.
Bye, Bye, Franco Never liked you. Glad I didn't bet on you for anything.
