You progress in flat in any training really but its proably TT that would make you improve the most |

I got another question: How much AC would you need to break away from the pack right before a sprint? |

pretty high, but Fighter, Resistance, and Flat are the biggest unless there is a bit of a hill then hill would be up there.
to do what you say you would probably need a Voigt

Well, i can agree to resistance, but arent Fighter bugged (i read that somewhere on the official boards)? And for flat, well with the right timing, you would switch to sprint instead of just attempting to race away from them.
But yeah, Voigt would be the obvious choice. |

you'll need high Flat. that's by far the most important if you're trying to attack on the flat. without very high flat, you'll never even get out of the peloton, much less stay away.
Cancellara would be the best choice, usually
especially being a decent sprinter, since the last 3km are a sprint

The fighter stat only affects how long they can attack for I think, and their red bar fills up less slowly in a break.
It has no effect on the green flashy thing

I lead out with Steve Cozza, Brad Huff, and Mike Friedman. I was surprised once to see 1st Friedman 2nd Huff 6th Cozza

no, vino sucks for that, he got way too low sprint. Man like Cancellara and Ballan in very good condition can attack with 8km to got and win with 30sec. but they mostly need high flat and good sprint. |

how long they can attack is how long the blue bar takes to empty.
the blue bar is the Resistance stat. |

In the official DB, Ballan as 69 SP and Vino as 66.... The difference is not that big.
Ballan has more flat, but in the fighter stats Vino is maybe the best in the game.....

Ballan showed yesterday that he's the perfect rider to breakaway right at the end
