I know they should just hire me now!
In actuallity its not that bad, he's going to be better than Stafford so he gets a better contract than Stafford.

OK YES HE"S A ROOKIE.
I was merely comparing contracts to Staffords, but yeah both are way overpayed for ROOKIES. |

They fix the rookie pay scale in general. No one any rookie, no matter how good or promising, should come into the league and immediately become one of the highest paid players at a position.
It would be as if Taylor Phinney was now one of the highest paid cyclists in the peloton... |

Well as far as I know a rookie pay scale like the one in the NBA is one of the main points of the new collective bargaining agreement so it should get fixed soon, because it is absurd, look at how much money someone like JaMarcus Russel got from the Raiders and what he actually did.
That being said Bradford could be an awesome QB and there were a good number of teams lining up willing to pay him the same amount if they got the chance so I don't think it's a bad decision by the Rams, they just need to get some people who can actually catch a few balls from him now. |

It's not a good forum post if there's not some opportunity for innuendo tbh . Also the Ram's recievers aren't bad as such but they got no real number one either at WR or TE and in today's NFL that means Bradford will suffer, hopefully one of the current guys will step up for him but most likely they're going to have to trade for/draft one next season. |

The games, child. They start today.
Or rather the game. The others don't start for a few days. Still. Cowboys - Bengals today

Can't be bothered with pre-season and the Favre circle-jerk. Wake me up when the season actually starts. |

Rams get a new owner. Well majority owner. And the Rams nearly beat the Pats, Beat them in the first half (more important because usually the season starters play a few drives then and then sleep on the bench the rest of the game.)
And Bradford looked impressive. I just compared his game stats to Brady, P Manning and Rogers and only Brady had a better pass %. But Sam did have a few less passing yards. Still the Rams have one or two good receivers at best so fine performance.
Edit: Fuck. Only one good receiver now I guess. Donnie Avery was carted off after a horrible pass from Bradford that Avery had to jump for and upon landing injured his knee.
