Valve, have a look at the Overview too: https://www.pcmdaily.com/forum/viewthr...ad_id=1229
This season it is not planned to have any continental teams in PT races, or ProTour teams in continental races. Maybe that might happen in a later season though.

You already said that I had to wait for a new sponsor until the end of season 2 but can I already use a new shirt this season with the same sponsor I already have on it?
edit: so with panaria as sponsor

There are no race points assigned to the Giro Del Capo on the schedule |

Will riders from other Continental teams become free agents, or be available to swap? |

The Giro del Capo's racepoints are 6 and yes ALL riders in the whole database (Apart from those retired riders - all the ones 36 or over) will be available to buy in the transfer season.
3. Free Agents – Riders who have not been re-signed or who are already free agents will be published, and bidding will occur as an auction in the following manor:
a. Find a free agent you want, then search through the forum to see if a topic has already been started for him
b. If it hasn’t, then open up a new thread, with the title of the rider you want (threads with misspelled names will be deleted!!!)
c. Then, post the name of the rider again, your team, and the wage you are offering for him (starting bid is minimum of €50,000 for ProTour teams, and €30,000 for Continental teams)
d. Other managers (Both Continental and ProTour) can then bid for him, but bids can only be increased by a minimum of €2,000 each time.
e. 48 hours after the last bid, the rider goes to the highest bidder, and the thread is closed

When will it be possible for the PT-managers to take-over the last Cont teams?
Personally, I think we shouldn't, because it lowers the level of concentration to have two teams and so on... But if there are insufficient people to cover the Cont teams, I can't see another way? To play with less than 20 teams perhaps? |

Currently theres only 2 Continental Teams left, Marco Polo and Nippo. If after another day or two, they are still there. They might be offered to 2 PT players.

But could it be a possibility to eliminate the two, since noone would stand a chance with such mediocre riders anyhow? |

Actually, in the season simulation, Nippo were promoted to the ProTour using this team! Besides, if someone takes them, there are still 15 more riders to buy, so they can easily still do well

Plus, you'll be buying 15 new riders, so the original line up doesn't make a huge difference

This might be very basic and also a case of me not paying the proper amount of intention. But I'm still now fully aware of how the seasons are played. Because some place I noticed that you're "just" playing the races in singleplayer. And if that's the case, then how are young riders able to develop throughout the seasons? |

The riders all develop at the end of the season - we play a career at the same time

Another one as I couldn't find it in the rules. Is it allowed for me, as a Continental team owner, to trade/buy riders from a ProTour team and if it's allowed then when can I start doing it? |

yes it is, Karl and Valv have already started and have a couple of preliminary deals sorted
you can start asking about riders in the ProTour general section there are a number of riders, and you can of course do that in the Continental General section if you want another Continetnal rider
you an start now but nothing can be final as the transfer window isn't open yet, they can only be preliminary deals
