The big races in cycling usually start with the Paris - Nice and this year is not an exception. Luis Leon Sanchez won it last year but it looks harder to do that now with riders like Contador, Leipheimer, Valverde, Armstrong, Gerdemann and our own Schleck

Contador is the main favorite to win Paris-Nice.

Team Saxo Bank will be lead in France by Andy Schleck in the mountain and by J.J Haedo in the sprints.

Stage 1 Paris-Nice

The first stage in Paris - Nice is an individual time - trial in Amilly, its only 9 km long and totaly flat.

Our goal for toadys stage is a top 3 for Gustav Larsson and that Andy Schleck dosen´t lose to much time on the other favorites.

Liquigas Vanderborg was the first rider with a good time.
i963.photobucket.com/albums/ae119/jaccan/TeamSaxoBank-1.jpg

Devolder was close to he´s time but was 3 seconds after and took an previous second place.
i963.photobucket.com/albums/ae119/jaccan/TeamSaxoBank-2.jpg

Plaza was very strong toady and takes the lead from Vanderborg with 1 second.
i963.photobucket.com/albums/ae119/jaccan/TeamSaxoBank-3.jpg

Millar is one of the favorites for todays stage and he takes the lead from Plaza being 3 seconds faster.
i963.photobucket.com/albums/ae119/jaccan/TeamSaxoBank-4.jpg

Our own Larrson was showing that he is strong in TT and takes the lead from Millar with 10 seconds.
i963.photobucket.com/albums/ae119/jaccan/TeamSaxoBank-5.jpg

American TT-champion Zabriskie is 16 seconds after Larrson.
i963.photobucket.com/albums/ae119/jaccan/TeamSaxoBank-6.jpg

Leipheimer takes the lead from Larsson with 1 second.
i963.photobucket.com/albums/ae119/jaccan/TeamSaxoBank-7.jpg

Even though this is Contador first official race of the year he put in a very strong ride and is only 11 seconds after Leipheimer.
i963.photobucket.com/albums/ae119/jaccan/TeamSaxoBank-8.jpg

The last starter of the day is Boasson Hagen. He pushes himself very hard and manage to get a podium place on third place 9 seconds after the winner Leipheimer.

I will do my best to beat Contador. And if i dont manage to do that there are plenty of good riders in Paris-Nice

I think its pretty realistic to beat Contador in PCM, especially if you have Andy Schleck. So good luck to you, you have all chances to win the race.

Stage 2 Paris-Nice

The second stage of Paris-Nice is flat and made for the sprinters.
The favorite for the day is of course Cavendish, but there is many other good sprinter here of course with names as Bonnen, Ciolek, Henderson and Dugue.
i963.photobucket.com/albums/ae119/jaccan/TeamSaxoBank-10.jpg

Nothing relly interesting happend before the last kilometres that is allways interesting. We had Voigt and O´Grady working for J.J Haedo. And Voigt took them up to a very good position.
i963.photobucket.com/albums/ae119/jaccan/TeamSaxoBank-11.jpg

But when the sprint begun Haedo was exhausted and couldn´t take O´Gradys wheel. So now everything was on O´Grady. But Team Sky and Milram had very good positions.
i963.photobucket.com/albums/ae119/jaccan/TeamSaxoBank-12.jpg

And then from nowhere Cavendish shows up. Can he take the win from Milram or Sky?
i963.photobucket.com/albums/ae119/jaccan/TeamSaxoBank-13.jpg

No he can´t. Ciolek wins in front of Boasson Hagen and Cavendish. O´Grady becomes four.

Stage 3 Paris - Nice

This stage might be the last opportunity for the sprinters to win in
Paris - Nice. Ciolek won yesterday but today Cavendish want revange for that.
i963.photobucket.com/albums/ae119/jaccan/TeamSaxoBank-15.jpg

Todays breakaway was a strong trio with the names Vinokourov, Le Lay and Stalder.Even with those names in front it was impossible for the breakaway to stay in front of the peleton until the finish and we are going to have another mass sprint.
i963.photobucket.com/albums/ae119/jaccan/TeamSaxoBank-16.jpg

Again Haedo wasn't able to join the train and again we had to have O´Grady as the sprinter. Voigt made he´s best to set O´Grady up to a good position and he succeded.
i963.photobucket.com/albums/ae119/jaccan/TeamSaxoBank-17.jpg

But it was usless as Mark Cavendish and Tom Bonnen was a class above all the other sprinters. Mark Cavendish has a little advantage over Bonnen.
i963.photobucket.com/albums/ae119/jaccan/TeamSaxoBank-18.jpg

Bonnen was very fast the last metres but Cavendish holds it and takes the stage for HTC - Columbia. Bonnen is second and O´Grady manage to take third place.
